45 going to 63. Still having easterly cool damp breeze.

Buppies. Glad you got to talk with Holly. Prayers continue.

Scotty, I need more cowbell! and exclamation points!

Sorry vacation ended early, Sodamo.

RNG, I love those interior 360 walk throughs...always makes the rooms look enormous.

Yesterday was dump run and hike and swim day. Then continued working on my "one day" job that has taken all week...mowed for an hour, at first just to clear a small edge next to where I'm planting the little trees, and decided the zero turn needed more exercise, so mowed 3 food plots so they'll be ready to till in a few weeks. Then dug 9 more holes for planting. So today is final day, mixing some packaged soil and plain ole dirt and planting.

But about to run out of coffee, so will need to roast in a little while.

Good Afternoon Bill,

Thanks, it was just some crazy habit that I picked up somewhere .

Changed the cabin filter in my 2017 Ford F-150 this afternoon . Had to take the glove box out and another panel behind that to get to the filter compartment. I have never changed it in just over 8 years, kind of dirty but not terrible. The only thing that hurt was paying $25 for the new filter. ;) :)
Changed cabinet filter in my 2015 car for the first time last summer. Did not look like it needed changing.
Excitation marks on end sentences. I never saw them. 🥴🤠

Morning all!
Weather here is the same as Thomas.

Beautiful day yesterday. Snow is melting nicely.
Went for our normal morning walk.
Was able to pick up a load of branches and junk from a small portion of the yard. Was so nice we decided to put the porch chairs out and enjoy it for a few hours!
Took a skip down to the neighbors and checked the house and vehicles. Nothing found. While there I figured I would start both up and give the batteries a charge. They should be back home in a few weeks.
Pellet stove shut off for a few hours so I gave that a quick once over.
Worked in the shop for a small bit as our house guest left in the morning after we all went out for breakfast.
Coffee with all the sisters(and spouses) went great!
Today will be mostly puttering outside and a possible trip to a benefit party.
That's all for now.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

good morning all
the weekend has arrived and it will be 60 today in clouds with rain coming in tonight.
going to be a very busy day here, Stump Day
BIL and mini-ex coming in early, and landlord is lending me their gardener for the day so he
can do the grunt work, not me. My job was to get the top soil and grass seed, all ready to go.

landlord called and said their helper was supposed to work somewhere else today and to cancel that he needs a
full day here, so keep him busy. Keep him busy and we are paying. Sounds good to me.
I have four big bags of lawn chemicals, including Grubex, to put down, so helper will be walking his butt off with
my Scott's seeder.

Jackson & Perkins said my roses were on their way. If they come in today, need to dig holes for them too.
one is a dwarf rose tree for the front yard, curious how that will turn out.
I've always grown roses and love the smell, smellier the better. So the plan is to make a big mess this morning, and prepare
the front lawn to look somewhat nicer. Rotting stumps are ugly and in my case
a delicious bug condo for my local pileated woodpecker. Sorry bird, you gotta go somewhere else.

nice dinner with entire family last night. As we get older we really value the fact we are all still here. I lost my wife but that's the only
loss so far in family. SIL made penne with a white clam sauce, yummy. Ice cream cake dessert was too sweet though, though of course I said it was wonderful. Totally home made, lot of work went into it, just too much sugar for me. So I ate most of it.
lots of nice presents given, all unexpected, including some new framed family photos which are precious to me.
plus a nice gift card to my favorite gardening supply place.

hope you all have a nice weekend.

Good morning TBN!!!
52 this morning. Should be in the 70s before the weather moves in, in the morning. Wind and heavy rain expected overnight.
Spent the day in the garage. Still trying to figure out a lifting point for the torch cart. Cleaned up the spent welding sticks and grinding dust. Shuffled to tools around again.
Got some seat time in. Hauled a couple of loads of sand on top of plastic and rolled the tanks so the sludge would drain from two openings. Trying not to p*ss off mother nature :) Cleaned out the spot where the tank will sit as much as I could. Lots of rocks in the river that have washed in since the bridge came out.
Started both gennys up with out a problem. They will be getting a lot of use in near future.
A little more just puttering in the shop and walking the dog. Got 12k steps!!
Not sure what I will get in to today, but it will be busy here in my little slice of heaven.
I will probably do HF run for a Sawzall. I know my battery Hitachi won't keep up so I will get a corded one.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

45 outside right now, heading to upper 50's.

Need to get busy, or busier this AM. Move some animals and vehicles around. Tree guys are showing up. Nothing like advancing the schedule a week or so. Gives wife the excuse to miss another company function. The big guy will give me an earful for sure.

Hope all have a great day. Be safe.

Good Morning,
Ct, 38 to start going to 49 with clouds and some on and off sprinkles. Kind of foggy now so no hurry to go out.

Changed cabinet filter in my 2015 car for the first time last summer. Did not look like it needed changing
GM Ron, I agree, my cabin filter was a little soiled but not terrible. And Bill, I agree with you, it should be good for another 8 years. 😉 I kind of think it’s a joke when they recommend changing it every year. 😃

Kathleen’s is preparing a corned beef feast for a group of friends coming over this evening. And then of course tomorrow is the big St.Patricks Day parade, and then a house full of people after the parade, so a busy couple of days.

Took my 1930 Ford Model A out for a spin around the neighborhood yesterday afternoon. Started right up after sitting all winter. I would like to repaint the engine hood this year if I get a chance, it has some peeling paint that looks bad.

If it stops drizzling today may do some more backyard cleaning.

Hope all have a good day and weekend. 😉

Good Morning! 60˚F heading to only the mid 70s. W wind at 20 mph clouds this morning sunny afternoon.

Had a surprise thunderstorm at 3 AM dropped .06" rain, it was not predicted.

Yesterday afternoon it was 95˚ winds were only 15 mph. I saw some yellow rose bushes at Costco ($19.99) that smelled good but it was too hot to plant them so I left them there. Might run back and get them today.

I washed the truck early yesterday and did the shopping. The polish does work good on the gate so that and working on the dry riverbed are on the agenda today between removing leaves from the pool. Had thoughts of jumping in yesterday but changed mind after seeing the 63˚ temp.

David you cannot leave us hanging on the cut short vacation. Glad you are back home safe and sound.

Good Morning!!!! 44F @ 5:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 61F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Sorry about the vacation, David. Hope it all works out OK.

Had a few updates to make on the laptop; still haven't migrated the photos yet.

Got some packing done for tomorrow's trip north, and need to finish that this morning.

Made a town run for groceries, and got a new fuel filter for the firetruck. It came with the rubber gasket; I was a bit worried the gasket would be a challenge, as the firetruck is a '75 F750, and I'm pretty sure the fuel filter is aftermarket. The old one had a part number, and the NAPA guy had a cross match in stock.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend...

good morning, 43 going to 60 rain on the way for tomorrow

Broke down a jacking tower made up of 4x4 pieces that is in the way for moving in the new washer. Cleaned up behind the old washer. Delivery, new hoses and installation was 19 dollars so took that but they wanted 40 dollars to haul off the old one so declined that. Go figure

GD is spending weekend with D to help her with college planning after she accepted an in
state college. Parents are no help so hopefully she can learn what is needed to close the gap on tuition etc. We may have to help

Morning all, 43 going to 59 and light mist, had a very small amount of rain overnight.
Met up with the neighbors and their kiddies last night, gabbed until dark.
Did go out for appetizers into town.
Not sure what I am up to today.

Will put a new air filter in the jeep, so one tiny task I will get done :)

David - sorry you had to come home early.

be well

/ Good morning!!!! #204,520
good progress on Stump Day.
front stumps much bigger than expected, first one required a full 360 digout.
That Kubota miniex sure is quiet and smooth.
they have had it about 2500 hours and trouble free. Looked like their bucket was a little worn, clanked
a bit but owner's son was very skilled

had to come in and sit and eat lunch, back was screaming. Mostly from what must be a real drop in barometric pressure
with front coming in tonight. Back is really talking to me.

we were doing wonderfully until we discovered a low wet spot on way to woods.
carrying full load of weight made it worse
more mess...
fixed already.

now out to seed it and take final pic for landlords.
rain tonight will help
