Good morning!!!!

Drinking first cup of coffee. 32° with fog this morning. Heading to 41° with rain, snow and anything else winter weather can give us. Did some moving around of equipment between the 2 barns before snow and rain moved in yesterday. Spent time getting a camera bird feeder up and running. Not sure I will be keeping it. Cannot find a way to remove videos that are not wanted on Birdfly site. Grocery shopping this morning. Then back inside out of the weather.
What happens when one of the birds flies away while photo is processed in camera.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
44 going to 57 today in light rain this morning
up early, showered but not shaved, looked at weather, will take beard off next week
when it warms up.
need to do some food shopping today, really should go down to Costco to stock up for freezer but
that place is just not my favorite. Between parking craziness and generally too many people in a confined space,
am always happy to leave. With my case of something I only needed two of....

happy to report that, so far, the new brain of my truck's infotainment system appears to be mentally stable again.
took only six years for that board to fail, 1500 bucks to replace, of course after warranty, which I'm sure is why this vehicle
was traded in. Everything was going wonky. HAL was not cooperating...
AI in cars and trucks is a huge deal, big market for those expensive chips.
Also means less and less likely you'll be able to fix anything on your car anymore.

please input passkey.
please try again later.

this is what the guys with the largest JD tractors must feel like when their engine conks out in the field and no one but JD tech
can work on it.

53 currently, higher than the normal high temp of the day. Feels good outside. Should get up to 67 before the showers get here at noon.

Kyle, good luck to your son on his track meet. Sorry his hip is bothering him.

Ken, congrats to your son for working hard in high school to get accepted at those colleges.

Took Della for a hike and swim yesterday since it was so warm. Then went to Torchy's to redeem my free queso for lunch. Then a Costco run for bird food, etc. and gas 2.74. Next month's sale items includes $18 off an 8-month supply of Frontline plus, which I put on Della. I was too full from Torchy's to eat any of the free samples provided by the nice ladies in the aisles.

Kia is recalling a lot of small cars (2021 through 2023 Soul and Seltos) for potentially bad piston rings, and their "solution" is
very interesting. That say they are installing piston-ring noise-detecting software that will alert the owner
if piston rings sound wrong in future.
has anyone every heard of such a thing?
apparently the knock sensor is used at least in part.

sounds mighty far fetched to me
they say only 1 percent of engines bad

it's the noise detecting software that interests me.
have you listened to your rings lately?
are they smooth and happy?...

perhaps this is the modern version of a stethoscope

sounds like a long day for you Thomas, take it slow

there is a feature on my pc that goes back in time "on this day" through all my many, many thousands of pictures.
what is fun is that older software put the older pics in folders and not easy to see what is in there. This software ignores all the folders and just
uses the pic load date I guess. So ten years ago my orchard was being laid out, the little red tags were the drill spots for my auger. This is about half the trees.
that sure was fun, apples at far end, then pears, then peaches, then plums
when all were planted, next week a ten foot metal fence went in.

Morning all!
Currently 32 and snowing. Going up to a rainy 45 as the day goes on.

Nothing much going on here. Been hacking away at the ice from the last storm. Temps above freezing the last few days sure feel nice.

Not sure why but I had two days were I just didn't feel good. Spent most of that time just laying on the couch. I was able to get work done just know something wasn't right. Gone now so who knows!

Wife and I were able to get a walk outside yesterday. Felt good. Had to dodge puddles and vehicles along the way.

New glasses are in at the store so we will probably go there today. Have a few projects in the shop going. Keep alternating between them. Nothing completed.

That's it for now.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Good morning TBN!!
42 out with a high about 70. Rain later today.
Gorgeous day yesterday! Spent most of it outside.
Fueled everything in site to empty cans. The went and filled the cans with diesel, gas and filled the truck.
Ready to go whenever my tank arrives. Fired up the genny and ran my compressor and Plasma cutter from it for a while. It didn't even break a sweat. Shuffled things around in the garage to make adequate room to work. Be a little more of that today.
Plenty of dog walking too. More of that today also, at least in the early part of the day.
Other than that we'll see!

Time for a second cup.
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
