Yes, female Cardinal.
Bought a HF winch for my ranger, and mounting plate. Never mounted. They are somewhere around here.Good morning TBN.
42 this morning and might make lower 50s with intermittent light rain.
Pretty good day yesterday albeit much cooler.
Went to Harbor Freight to take advantage of the winch sale. Got the 2500 for $50 out the door to put on the 4 wheeler. Been watching for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I will probably go back and get the mounting plate because it's cheaper then anything I might fabricate.
Of course rode the 4 wheeler to walk the dog plus my own steps (10k+) for walking him too. I really don't mind the walking as I am sure it is healthy but it uses up a lot of the daylight.
Puttered in the garage looking at how I want to mount the winch. I would like to mount it to the front but it will be a challenge. Otherwise I might just slap it on a 2" hitch and be done with it.
Other than that we will have to see what adventure the day holds.
Have a great and safe day!!
Probably overkill for your situation, but I installed a ScanGauge 3 on the Promaster and it has a screen for reading OBDII error codes. While on the subject, does anyone recommend a particular OBD2 scanner? I need one worthy of helping me figure out which airbag circuit is messed up.
I also use an iPhone app called OBDFusion and a Carista OBDII dongle to read codes on the Vanagon. If you're using an Andorid phone there's an even more powerful app called Torque you can use. I think I paid $15 for the dongle, while the app was a free download.
