Good morning!!!!

Good Afternoon Paul,

I have seen tracks in my yard from either Amazon trucks or private contractors with vans doing delivery work ! After years of backing down some tough driveways in an oil truck, second career I find it unbelievable that these people don’t know how to use their mirrors for backing purposes! 😒
Hey, Scott. Our driveway is about 250 feet. At the top of the hill just past the house, it turns left 90° to the back of the house (then another 90° into the garage ... not idea, but it's the way my Wife's grandfather built it). I added a larger gravel area at the top for additional parking and to provide a back-up spot for delivery trucks. We basically doubled the top area. There are zero reasonable excuses for anyone to not use it. All he had to do was turn his wheel and back up 90° and he would have had a straight shot down the driveway. That guy was just an inconsiderate idiot who shouldn't be allowed to operate a large vehicle.

Had a fuel delivery truck make ruts in the driveway backing up and getting off the pavement on one side. Called them to complain and they would not believe me so sent them pictures showing the hump of dirt generated between the dual tires so there was not much doubt. They paid what I asked to fix it via a fuel credit. Never saw the same driver again

My neighbor had an Amazon truck drive over his lawn. Reported it when asked how delivery was. They paid him to repair the area.

Afternoon all;
Had a fairly productive morning once I got going. Cold rain showers came in a bit sooner then forecast.
Got the tire pressure adjusted in the new tires and the old tires, then mounted up both sets of tire chains.

new rears at 18 psi.

This year I got a bit lazier mounting the chains instead of doing it on flat ground, I started on a bit of slope after I got the ropes tied to the chains and hooked on the tires I could just release the parking brake and let the tractors roll ahead, stopping every 3-4 feet to straighten out the chains. I had just dumped them in piles before starting. Just letting the tires pull the chains up and around and adjusting them till pulled all the way around then fastening the center chains and then the outers.

Dang cold rain shower got to me about halfway through the second set.
Both sets took a bit of adjusting for the different tires they were going on this year.

Now we should get an easy winter, chains on two tractors, studded snow tires on the pickup and my wife's new car.

Drove home in lots of rain. Traffic was heavier also. And not to mention heavy fog for a good bit.
Apparently cats been attacking tree ornaments, they found parts of one in basement.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 12.3C and it's presently 21.8C, mostly clear with a light breeze.

A relaxing day was had yesterday.

Received a brief text this (my) morning from my Aunt (Burlington, Ontario) that my Sister is having surgery sometime tomorrow. No other details.

It's 'into town' day for groceries followed by... stuff, I guess.

That's about it, take care all.
