67°F and .23 inches rain

Feeling my best in a week. Pain seems to be gone this morning. Encouraging.

Hope for a least semi productive day without over doing it. An energy conservation day is nice, but not when it’s painfully forced.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

very windy today and going to be cold tonight

As I pulled out I said, we forgot to get a picture. Half way home. At Cabelas.
We were late getting there because of multiple events, late start, wrong turns, took the slow route, good lunch at Amish place near Lancaster.
Drove past popgadget on way out, I honked as I drove by.
Really windy today. And sun is low in the face. Appalachian trail up on that ridge.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 16.3C(!) and it's presently 21.8C, partly cloudy & fairly calm. Rain is predicted this evening.

Yesterday arvo was simply [and slowly] stacking wood by the house... slowly due to treating it like a jigsaw puzzle to lock the pieces & avoid major shifts as it dries. I'll get back at it this arvo before the rain comes.

I received a call from "Centrelink" regarding my OAP application. A very helpful conversation and it turns out that I just need to submit one more piece of information. She explained exactly what was required and 'They'll' be expecting it today. I've got the information now. As I said before, this is why you apply with plenty of 'lead time' for the process to be completed.

So today is 'into town' day for some scripts and groceries. Then send off the 'information' followed by more wood stacking.

That's about it, take care all.

Good Evening,
Looks like I'll be out of a real job for at least another three to four weeks
Mike, du bist arbeitlosen ! Enjoy the break, you will be working before you know it ! 🙏

I always liked building the fire right on the floor of the fireplace to get a good bed of coals.
Paul, when I did use my fireplace as a fireplace, I kind of liked the heavy duty grates that were off the floor by 2 or 3” !
Your fireplace looks outstanding! 👍

Lots of beach walking today, I bet I lost maybe 1 pound ! 😂

Hope all have a good evening ! 🙏

My neighbor was on his way to work Friday. Caught this with his Dash Cam. Some times it does not pay to speed in a 25mph zone. Driver was OK. 1988 lifted pickup was totaled. My neighbor assisted with helping driver.
Have to wonder what that idiot was thinking, well maybe he just wasn't thinking.

It was last Tuesday when I managed to get the tractor stuck and unstuck.
Because I tweaked my back a bit, I was willing to just leave it.
Retrieved it today.
Thought I might continue the mowing, but somehow all that conserved energy just dissipated. Maybe tommorrow.

Morning all!
21 going to a sunny 44 today.
Not sure why but I'm wide awake at 2 am!
Happy to report that I did absolutely nothing yesterday! Looks like I might finish with this today too.
Need to go to the apartment and figure out why one of the driers is squeaking like crazy. Currently checking on Youtube for how to take it apart and diagnose.
Meeting with some family today for a late lunch.
Will need to grab a nap sometime today.
If it does warm up without the wind blowing constantly I might try and put the mower away and hook the tractor up to the battery tender. Hopefully will be a long wait for snow removal.
That's enough rambling for now.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 28° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 53° with cloudy skies. Got JD and MMM fall maintainace done yesterday. Ready for winter storage. Leaves are still struggling to drop from 2 tree in front yard. Battle with mice continues this year. 2 trapped so far this fall. Still haven't found how they are getting into house. Going to do grocery shopping today. That will give me a conserve energy day. 10,000 + steps per day makes me very tired at end of day. Forecast is rain tomorrow. I am starting to believe that old saying that getting wet with rain can melt a older person.
Morning visitors.
