72 wet going to 77 real wet and windy from the downgraded hurricane.

Don, that cake looked really good...I love pineapple upside down cake.

Buppies, glad you missed the tornado. BTW, I just sort of stumbled into reading about Cahas Mtn and the rural historic district last night. Very interesting and pretty.

Yesterday, did some storm/rain prep, and once it dried out enough, pruned some shrubs and vines...got those nasty 10 foot blackberry shoots that were catching me when I whipped around the corner on the zero turn, too.

Good Morning,
Ct , 62 to start going to 72 ! A light rain and kind of humid. Work today, so the weather isn’t great for what I do ! 😉

In my Ct yard I have all these huge mushrooms growing, will try and take a picture later !

Ted, sounds like you had your hands full with that flat ! I hope the torn tire bead doesn’t start to leak ! Good luck with all of that ! 🙏

Hope all have a good day ! 🙏

Good Morning to all who celebrate! Currently 69 degrees heading to a high of 72 with, shocker, more rain.

It's that time of year where I feel like I blink and months go by.
I picked up a snow-pusher yesterday for the 3901 so I don't scrape the new seal coat off the driveway this winter.
Newly married friend wants me to bring my 500i to his place rain or shine tomorrow...hope nothing serious fell and this is a firewood gathering mission for his younger brother.
Sunday I drive grandma out to see her newest great-grandchild and my nephew, which will be fun.

Enjoy the day everyone!

Morning all, 66 going to 71 and light drizzle.

So we tried getting in touch with my father yesterday and his phone at rehab was disconnected and they told us they didn't have a patient by that name.
So I called my Dad's Girlfriend, since she won't talk to my brother anymore and found out he went home. She says he has 10hour/day care there. argh...

Uncle is home now, got a call late yesterday that they could not give him his medicine unless it was paid for and he did not have his wallet.
So I forked out the whopping $6 so he could get his prescription filled before he left the hospital, Should I laugh or cry at that one?

Anyway, now at least both are home where they want to be and under care.

Drew - don't forget to drive through Sedona, and see snoopy rock!

Be well,

good morning, 71 going to 76 and rain has returned

Going to tire shop for new tires on the van. Checked out the exhaust leak on the van but hard to see anything up under it. No sign of it except smell inside when parked with engine running. Very congested area under the engine. Using recirculating on the ac now
Will see if it goes worse

Breathing exhaust is pretty dangerous. Be careful

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 7:30AM. Foggy early, becoming sunny this afternoon. High 76F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Spent most of yesterday wiping, and sometime scraping, bright red grease off stuff in the garage. The can that exploded was on a wooden shelf, and the wood around it is now dyed bright red. So was the wall behind the shelf, but I was able to get it down to a light pink color. Ran a load of greasy cloths and brushes through the laundry, and need to run some of them again, if for no other reason than to wash the faint greasy film out of the washer. Mostly done with the cleanup, but I'll be wiping up little spots I missed for a long time, I bet. I did send a note out to Lucas Oil, but I don't expect to get anything back. What are they gonna do, reimburse me for a couple rolls of paper towels, a half gallon of solvent, and three days of my time?

Need to get the workbench cleaned off and get the Makita chain saw tuned up, and maybe sharpen up some chains. Got a couple trees to move up north, and I'd like to buck a couple pallets of manzanita to bring back down here.

Van and car still need washed, but need to get the timing right, after the fog lifts and before the sun gets too hot.

TGIF gang.

Glad they are home Ken our medical professionals leaves something be desired
My quack leaves a LOT to be desired. That is why I call him a 'quack'.

RNG, I don't know if you can get 'GOO-GONE' down there in Cali, but that makes a great degreaser. Smells like citrus too.

I just got back inside from installing the rear light. Sorry, no pics.

got half the rv washed and then had to deal with laundry.
nothing like folding hot laundry on a hot day...
but that's all done, headed out to finish rv, I asked permission if I could wash it using water sparingly and they said yes.

then I go for my walk
but no saguaro cactus here
doesn't grow here I was told, only under 3000 feet and I am at 3800 now.
they said they had prickly pear, that won't cut it but will go for a walk anyway.
They said a son of the Clayton gang was buried in the back.
The son mind you, folks will try to market just about anything.

Sixty eight°F and .oh eight in check rain

Competed with the passing showers until deeper grass wouldn’t properly exit the discharge shoot.

LS says tractor parts still on back orders.

Word from freezer warranty repair is they will send me new fan for self install. I accepted too quickly as the alternative was attempt at refund. I suspect the repair people will likely get paid for my labor. Kinda wish I had taken a moment to think thru.

Off to Friday follies in town

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Ask if you can get at least a shirt with company name from the freezer people.

walked out back through grass and ground so dry it went crunch crunch under my feet.
found a few flowers that survive in this, I do believe a saguaro cactus trying to grow, and some small okra like fruit on another bush. If that tiny brown thing is the pear in the prickly pear, not much eating here for anyone

RS, hope you have battened down the hatches/veggies; looks like this storm is coming right over you, at least you should get watered

high 90's here, too hot to go outside, just chilling and reading a novel

Afternoon all!
Currently 72 and sunny. Not for long I'm sure. Had breakfast with wife's family this morning. After that Everyone has been urging me to set up shop somewhere...here is my on sale shelf at a local co-op store. Hopefully I sell enough to pay the rental fee. I also went to a specialty shop that caters to the witch and dungeon crowd. I will be selling there on consignment. Much higher sale prices.
IMG_9405.jpg
After that pretty much tuckered out so I decided it was putter time! Need to fix a sparking electrical plug at the apartment tomorrow and then maybe wash the wife's car and clean the last 3 windows.
Might head to the shop after this as I've pretty much cleaned out the house of all my projects. All thats left is what we actually use.
That's all for now.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy! And dry!
