Morning all!
Currently 63 which will be today's high.
Weather guessers got it wrong again as it was supposed to be partly cloudy today and it is now raining. Has been since about 4 am.
Window cleaning went well but we stopped after about an hour as it was just to hot and muggy! There is always tomorrow when your retired!
Heading out to wife's cousin again to see about fixing a different gas tractor. We think it is having a fuel issue. Will clean carburetor and adjust today.
After that might go visit one of my sisters who is in town and renting a camp on a lake.
After that who knows?

Road trips wore me out yesterday. Finally got out of car mode around 11PM last night. Today is recovery day.

Not much on the agenda. Most all projects on a halt.

Ct, 61 to start going to 75. We never did get the rain they predicted, I think it mostly stayed on the eastern part of the state ! Sounds like Phil caught some of that rain, and it looks like Cape Cod got plenty!

Dennis, Beach Boys we’re my favorite band growing up ! I had the first 12 or 14 albums they produced! Lots of good memories! Hope you enjoyed the show !

Plans for today do some work around the house, and we are getting 2 of the grands today thru Sunday afternoon! We are planning on taking them to the zoo tomorrow, and probably out for pizza tonite. On Sunday I will be working at the FD booth cooking burgers and dogs at the Annual Pumpkin Festival and Kathleen is going to bring them over in the afternoon! Looks like a busy weekend!

Good morning! Another rainless hot day. 77˚F heading to the upper 90s heat index will be over 100˚.

First day without sling went well I had to hold myself back and did not do a good job of it, had to take an Advil for the annoying soreness, but at least I know it is improving unlike before surgery when it was just getting worse. No pain no gain.

PT this morning time to stretch till it hurts.

My EGO shoulder harness came in and did a little weed eating yesterday, today I need to finish the yard.
I also ordered a vehicle blower nozzle for my EGO leaf blower. It should blow most of the water off the car after washing it.

Good morning, the low is 58 and going to a high of 77°F. Wind E 6 mph. After the fog burns off it will be sunny.

That antifreeze change I did two days ago will have to be done again with 100% pure antifreeze concentrate. Like a dummy I cut the existing spare a-freeze down 50%, but it was already 50/50. DUH!
-20F is not good enough for this environment. I will drain one gallon of the -20 stuff out and replace it with the concentrate. That'll make it good enough. Probably around -45.

I have a quack appointment next Wednesday to see if he will sign off on my getting my license back. Then it will be a 30 day wait to see if the jobsworths at the MOT will okay it.

David, good luck trying to convince the VA to do their jobs.

On the Lotto Max ticket I bought when it got up to 85 million I won enough for a free ticket ($5.oo) and on the free ticket I got from that draw I won another free ticket...On Tuesdays' draw I got me another $5.oo. Not going to get rich at this rate. I've got a year to collect the ticket. Maybe I will wait until it gets back up to the high $$ and then cash in the ticket for another freebie.

Grass will need mowed soon growing steadily. Sorry about neighbor sodamo hope you get government straightened out.

Morning all, 64 going up to 83 and sunny.
Been doing a lot of watering, may have lost a lot of ground cover to wilt, stuff that's been here 30 years without watering. Too dry. Most of the big pines are showing stress.

Spent some of the evening on the phone with Dr and my brother. Uncle is in hospital with fractured vertebrae and some bleeding on the brain from a fall.
So now both brothers doing poorly. May have to fly over, waiting to see what Dr. say about uncle later today. May just need a brace and rehab, he's 92 so not sure an operation would be useful, he's unsteady enough from the failed hip surgeries.

Drew - glad you finally get to see the good side of SF, just don't go up Market street.
I worked in that big pointy building for a while, used to be the BofA building. Great view from the top floor where we had some portfolio managers.

No rain until next week, so watering , the spot sprayer and lawn tractor getting a lot of use. Beats dragging the 100' hose around and trying to shoot water another 50 or so feet to hit anything.

Will need to start moving leaves around already, early this year. Lots of trees turning and it's not even October.

Good Morning!!!! 55F @ 5:45AM. Cloudy early with peeks of sunshine expected late. Expect mist and reduced visibilities at times. High 68F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Found a couple of issues with the electrical in the RV parking area and back patio yesterday, and had everything up and running by 1PM. Drew will be happy to know that the RV outlet offers two duplex 120 VAC outlets, a 30 amp 120VAC outlet, and a 50 amp 240VAC outlet. That left me enough time to get a pallet of firewood unloaded and put away the tools before dinner.

There's an air show at the local airport this weekend, and all afternoon all sorts of unusual aircraft were coming in for a landing, low enough to clearly see and hear a preview of coming attractions. A dozen or so single engine war birds from WWII mostly.

That had me looking at the skies pretty often, which were getting darker in the east. Radar showed incoming storm clouds, so after dinner I got the growing firewood stack covered with a tarp. Only 0.01" of rain came down, but it was enough to wet the concrete and sound nice on the porch cover for a few minutes.

This morning I'm expecting a Vandenberg launch a little before 7AM. The first stage booster will come down off the coast down Baja way, so no sonic boom.

Plowhog my sister has a tiny balcony on her apt she can't use because the pigeons
roost there and poop everywhere. So that pic of the pigeon really was for her...

had some charlie horses in leg again, from a lot of walking yesterday. I drank a ton of water and tea but guess I needed more.

today will be a quiet day here, BIL picking me up later this morning and we will run some errands then veg out at his house, maybe get into their hot tub.
definitely going to fly the drone a little to get their picture waving from their deck
