Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 1.3C (Yep, 'cold snap') and it's presently 9.6C (heading to 13C), mostly sunny with a gentle breeze. There was 0.9mm in the gauge @ 0700... I even received a 'smattering' of pea-sized hail yesterday arvo.

As per usual, I'm off to Church in about a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

This 605hp Tiffin right next to me is quite something
I like his Jeep too
guy on other side of me has very nice gmc tow dually

headed down to local cafe part of this casino to see what is edible, something someone else will cook for once.

walked down the hill and ate an early dinner at the casino restaurant, which was pretty limited, but tonight was prime rib, I had a small one with home made mashed potatoes and it was marvelous. About five ounces net of beef and I'm stuffed. And as a bonus, it was BOGO, and I took home a chicken sandwich for tomorrow free.

605hp is wonderful, for pulling that heavy beast up the mountain

I'm guessing he's getting 7mpg.
fairly confident he doesn't care in that genuine land yacht.

Morning all, 70 going to 85 and the sun is up.

Today is our anniversary, snuck out earlier and got some flowers/plants.

Yesterday just did pool and yard maintenance.

Watched what will be the last Grand Tour on Prime. They were in Zimbabwe , which was one of my favorite trips, even if a hippo did attack us while canoeing the Zambezi.

Today might take a last dip in the pool. Will probably close it soon as it is filling with leaves.

Drew - if you want fancy high priced market in California try reEwhon market , Like Whole foods on steroids. I had a few of their pre-made sandwiches and they were really good.

well I made it to the casino.
Didn't have a choice, you had to walk through it to get to the
restaurant.
and if I had wanted to push a few buttons for five bucks and leave, fine, but
no way, they still have smoking here. Yuk, like walking into an ash tray.
I hustled through the room...it was pretty low rent.

front of casino is a gas station and a lot of fairly rough woodsman types stopping in for gas, junk food, pulling every kind of motorized equipment.
Every nationality and a lot of tattoos. America on the move.

I put a couple of folding chairs out, might go sit outside for a bit.
would like to get away from sound of hvac. It was still 85 here a little while ago. Then temps will drop like crazy, and tomorrow night going to be 33 here. The cold is coming down along with high winds tomorrow afternoon.

they issued a marine forecast for Lake Tahoe, warning of 1-3's in gusts to 40mph. Gotta remember to bring the awning all the way in tonight.

Drew, according to google maps, the state line runs right thru the back of the campground. You can walk to california.
