Good Morning,
Ct, 63 to start going to 77 ! Cloudy and much cooler.

Drew, really glad to see you got the electrical issues resolved! I know later in your trip you will be seeing some members with great mechanical skills! Possibly the can repair the damaged stairs ?

Looking forward to meeting PopG later today ! Looks like lunch on Wooster St in New Haven, worlds best pizza 🍕!
And it sounds like I will be getting a tour of a Jet ! That should be very interesting!
My Pop used to fly out of Tweed in New Haven. Should be an interesting afternoon!

Later afternoon not so much, I get to cut and trim the grass !

Hope all have a pleasant Thursday! 🙏

good morning, 75 going to 87 today. Thunderstorm last night with lightning all over

No need to water today. Not sure what to get into today. Maybe hooking up some battery chargers that came in.
Zion looks guilty and dug out a spring from the couch when home alone.

Morning all, 75 going up to 80 and sunny.
Rain/storms last night never materialized.
Dog walk in town,

Bucked the large fallen tree and then went to the side yard and cut down 6 smaller ash and bucked them. Was afraid they were ready to fall, would not be a pleasant way to end a dog walk or lawn mowing.
Still feel tired from doing all the cleanup in 95 degrees yesterday, but they kept saying rain....

Today it's pool cleaning and watering

Drew - glad switch fixed, hate when important stuff is jury rigged. Hopefully now you have all the faults for the trip done so you can enjoy the rest.

Have fun at lunch Scotty and Paul

M7040 - couch springs and dogs, oh well...

Be well,
Will get the tractor out when I have time and move this to the pile.

Cut and cleaned up, think the biggest was about 30' tall. Still a few left farther into the woods, but little chance of them falling into the open areas.

I spent what free time I had going through various coin collections. Yesterday was penny wheatback identification day. I managed to find some keepers. Fortunately they may actually pay for my time spend examining them. I have a lot more to do. A lot more to do.
You've got lots of cents there.

I've got 2 bankers boxes of them (mostly Canadian) to go through. Although pennies are discontinued from circulation up here, they are still legal tender.
When I get through them I will re-roll them and cash them in the bank.

Need to fix a broken wire on one of my battery tenders. It’s been waiting patiently on my work bench.
Has it been complaining to you about taking so long?
That is why broken tools are better than women. The tools don't b*tch at you when you take your time fixing them.

We have been working out our banks coin counter machines the past few weeks.

I am down to the old stuff. On the penny side, American wheatbacks circa 1909 to 1958. The stack towards the front of the picture is the 1950's.

I have learned a lot about pennies these past few days. I also learned how to read properly as I thought I was sitting on some very rare coinage. LOL.

Been looking at old Owen’s and Chris Craft cruisers marvelous craftsmanship, sleep well
There was a TV advertisement here some time ago regarding a vintage Chris Craft wooden boat.

Beautiful boat, about 70 years old. The owner was talking about it saying "everything on this boat is all original." Then the camera panned to his older wife, wearing a bikini and sunning herself on the back of the boat, when the owner said: "yep, everything is all-original!" Funny.

And regarding peeling off the top of the trailer, the famous bridge of course:

Contractor will dig 27 holes for new dog fence today. He is going to set 2 3/8 heavy wall steel pipe in each hole, then use a ramset to affix 2x4 cedar on one dimension, and 1x6 cedar on the other dimension" "Wrapping" the metal pole with wood so it looks like a wood post.

I'm going to later install the fence boards-- I have 1x6 cedar I milled from our property in California. It has sat and dried for a year so it should be ready to go ... hope I have enough we will see.

Everyone have a great day !!!
