It sure was. But good thing it was short. All of Metro Detroit was hit. Just not enough repairmen to get things back running in a short time. My whole house generator did its job. Roads were blocked with tree and power lines.

Well it was a very interesting afternoon !
Got to meet Paul and his copilot Rick ! I took them to Pepe’s Pizza in New Haven, probably the best pizza in Ct !
I got to sit in the copilot’s seat on the jet, that was what I call a great afternoon!
Thanks again Paul, for lunch and for a great tour of the jet ! I had a ball !

out of surgery, dr said went well, at home typing with one hand so no caps. 90 with heat index of 96.
block still working so no pain.
Ron when will the block wear off I'll need to have a pain pill on board but need to conserve because of Labor Day pharmacy is. closed and that's when I run out

I cannot take any of the high powered pain killer. So I took a 500mg Tylenol. Then put Harvey’s Iceman machine on my shoulder for 20 minutes at a time. Had it hooked to a Echo Show with timer for 20 minutes on and 30 minutes off. Don’t ask me how that was done. Have never done that type of thing with an Echo again. Dr. knew I could not take pain pills. So did something to get me through almost 24 hours.
