Wag, that sounds like a cool morning. Hope all is well down under.

Ta, Mate. All is very well down here... it's just 'that time of the year' (early Winter) when all of your Spring/Summer preparations 'pay off' for a relaxing time.

So, good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 5.2C and it's presently 11.4C, clear with a breeze. There was 11.3mm in the gauge @ 0900, all from yesterday.

It's 'into town' day for groceries... and some birthday present wrapping paper. Naturally, the paper that I had ran out whilst getting some presents wrapped to mail out to my mate from Brisbane. So I'll need to return to town later on to do that. I should get a 'tip' run accomplished too.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 56° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 83° with partly cloudy skies. Think I have weeds in gardens under control for the near future. Neighbor fell and broke her leg last week. Will be going over and see what I can get done in her yard until she recovers.

Kyle, sorry about your son's cooties...a dreadful condition. ...actually, I hope his pink eye goes away soon and he gets that first kiss. Sounds like he's a math wizz...we need more of those...if he has to pay to get his car fixed, he's just helping employ somebody else! Capitalism. Thanks for the ideas for watering. Fortunately, the ground is pretty flat and firm where she needs to water.

Buppies, I have to bring in many of my bird feeders every night...especially the suet...even if they are empty, mainly due to raccoons, but sometimes bears. Right now we are having a time with a flock of grackles and cowbirds eating the suet.

Took a nice longer hike yesterday morning (without Della)and enjoyed the cool drier air. Then roasted up a couple of new coffees...one called Bali Blue Moon, and one from Tanzania, which is tasting chocolatey and silky smooth right now. My wife will approve when she gets up.

good morning all
57 going up to 80 today in Lancaster Pa, which is just what it will
be two hours East of here when I get home. Slept very well last night and am up with the birds singing outside.

no reason for me to leave early this morning so I might take my Kindle outside with a cup of coffee later to kill some time. I'm in no rush to get into heavy traffic all the way home.

when I get home have to immediately research/fix squealing hydraulic leveling ram on rv. I think it's telling me it's about to quit on me, plus the squealing is embarrassing in a quiet campground.
Get a little oil on that will you buddy?............

unfortunately this is an industry that only knows how to replace parts.
Now if I had Kyle's or Popgadget's amazing ability to fix stuff, this probably
needs a seal kit of some kind. But instead bet I wind up having to buy the whole hydraulic assembly because the rv folks simply do not fix, they replace. Then you buy the seal kit, fix the old one and it hangs on the garage wall for ten years.

I need to find the pump motor assembly which I think they buried in one compartment and see how to check the fluid level. I've never seen any leaks but might not be looking in right place.

before I replace that cylinder, I'm going to really slobber some teflon lube on the shaft and run it up and down. I wonder if junk/rust got into seals.
but that squeal has to go

Good morning, the low is 50 and going to a high of 73°F. Wind S 3 mph. Sunny!

I am not sure what I will be doing today, but I can tell you that this sitting around when the weather is good is getting real old, real fast.

Ron, all birds that you don't want around like lead. .177 pellets, take a few of the females out and the males will leave for greener pastures.
The same goes for those green cigar laying canada geese, except 22 shorts work better on them.

58 this morning high of 79 today getting drier by the day grass slowed way down. Will have to make search for suet feeder.

Good morning! 72˚F heading to the mid 80s with a 45% chance of rain this morning. We had an inch of rain yesterday afternoon which should keep things green and I still have not had to use the irrigation system this year.

Not a perfect day to move but the boys with the big truck will be here soon. We should be ready. After doing a quick count yesterday we still needed 40 boxes, got them and used half yesterday should used 10 more today for last used items. It will be nice having everything in one place.
