Does anyone know what tree this is besides ugly. My wife wants it gone but I can see some value in it.

Good (Monday/King's Birthday holiday) morning. Overnight/early morning Low of -0.7C and it's presently 10.6C, clear & calm.

Nothing planned for today. I did a quick check and, once again, I did not make the 'King's Birthday Honours List', so no gong (medal) is coming my way. Just as well as it can be an embuggerance getting my existing military gongs re-Court Mounted just to add another one.

I have found that a well fed happy healthy cat is an excellent hunter. They like to bring you presents for being so well taken care of. The cat can also be patient and not rush the kill/miss for a quick meal.

I can vouch for that. We feed snagglepuss all the time, she loves bringing her catches onto our porch to show us.

Plant ID says Virginia Creeper based on the image of the leaves you uploaded.

We have it growing all over up here … but I’ve never seen a vine that large/thick.

We have Virginia creeper all over here in Virginia and it does look like it. It grows like a vine like wild grape or poison ivy then up a tree or wall. Never seen creeper vines larger than a pencil though.

What a day! I won a car at auction, never ever bought one sight unseen but someone found this knowing I like Rambler cars. It's 55 years years old and belonged to a fellow who had a dealership ordering for himself.
The poor driver's brakes went out a mile from here on a back road, lucky so almost no traffic. We took him to dinner & O'Reillys for calipers, I had tools here & we fixed his 2014 F250 (diesel...480k miles!).
He keeps texting & thanking me & we invited he, wife & his grandkids to ride our horses (just lead on lunge line).
Car runs great...solid, no rattles, etc.

Fuddy, my neighbor has a Rambler that he wants to restore.... but, it's been sitting outside his garage for over a year now.....
He has a couple other cars torn down to the frame in the garage for a few years already.

Would you like me to ask if he wants to sell it?

Fuddy, my mom bought a used Rambler Americana or Ambassador (I honestly can't remember right now)....We had it for a while. It had air conditioning, automatic, maybe even electric windows? Its been a long time...

Anyway, body style was similar to yours.

Basically 3 AMCs: American (think Nova, Falcon, Valiant/Dart), Classic (Chevelle, Fairlane, Belvedere, Ambassador (Impala, Galaxy, Fury).

Coffee has been poured. 51° cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with partly cloudy skies. Power washed plastic fence that mold on it. Sure looks better now that it is all white. Pulled weeds. A never ending job. Have to check To Do List for what I will get into today.

Morning all!
Currently 50 going to around 72.
Should be a gorgeous day here after many days of off and on rain. Got my sister all moved into her new apartment over the weekend. Lots of stuff for a single person in a two room place! Don't know how she will get it all stored in there!
Was a pretty quiet week for us other then that. This week should be about the same except for a physical for me thursday at the new doctor.
Apartment house needs a few bits of work so might head over there a few days.
Today will be playing in the shop this morning and pedicures for the wife and I this afternoon. After that putter outside and enjoy the fantastic weather!
Did get an elm bowl made and colored. About 8 X3 inches. Colored with brown and orange ink.

Good morning, the low temp is 41 and going to a high of 59°F. Wind N 11 gusting to 20 mph. Sun and cloud mix.

Today would be the ideal day to do the body work, but junior informed me last night that he needs to go to town today.
Tomorrow will be a 'hide inside away from the bugs day', at 75.

That is a nice clean looking Rambler.

up early, going to be a busy day
a cooler 58 going up to 76 today, should be lovely day to drive to Lancaster

worked out arrangements to see Ted in NM, campground is six miles from his home.
that Indian pueblo village named would be perfect, great idea, but three hours away.
have to work on logistics, that's too far for us to drive.

So far, have visits planned with PJ, Ted, Mostly, Don, and Kyle
am hoping to add some more
haven't heard back from RNG yet, he's up in the mountains I think
I promise to stand by the zebra bike but my back would not take kindly to riding.

I really would like to do a trip up to New England, maybe next summer
Want to head up through the Fingerlakes of NY and then East/North through New England.
I'll stop at Phil's House of Wood Creations and then head North for a meet up with Boo.
actually next summer, if I still have the rv, I hope to go back to Michigan over July 4th, see
RS and Ron again on the way. I can do two medium trips in a summer.
let's see if I survive this one after 63 days on the road.

if anyone feels I should move this trip stuff to another thread, please PM me. Don't want to clog
up GM. Otherwise you will be taken along for the ride.

I think a Rambler American is about as American as you can get.
from the little strippers with barebones interiors and tiny engines to the Ambassador
with power everything and a big V8, quite an interesting range.
But rarely glamorous and sometimes weird, like the Gremlin.
never had one, never driven or sat in a Rambler.
sounds like a fun not too expensive cars and coffee car.

I'll be going down 202 to 30 West this morning, nice easy two hour drive, and best part
is I can roll the window down and get some air on a 75 degree day. I wear my headphones anyway so
I don't hear the wind roar, all filtered out.

coffee done, time to shower and pack the rv.
will check in when I'm in the land of shoo fly pie.
