LS sorry about BIL. Prayers for family.
Sounds good Ron. Some improvement must be welcome. Nice deer pix!My cold is starting to break. Another day of relaxing and resting today.
A lot of factors come into play, but in light traffic situations, the tradition is whoever has the highest fuel burn rate gets priority.when you line up at the airport, do they always let the "heavies" go first?
Frits, what does it say above the door, the blue plaque, something about guarding against the Krauts in 1941? memorial likelygood morning
42 going to 61 today wow nice warming trend
The stomach issues starting to ease up after meds and diet restrictions. Can't really complain much at my age and compared to many of you pretty small potato.
Made a couple of runs to town yesterday. Need to consolidate driving more to save diesel but wife so enjoys the driving trips so it is all good
Got some pictures from the Riga trip that I can show

That sounds like a very close call. Glad you caught it in time. Hope all goes well on the fix up/clean up!almost lost the greenhouse
Drew I have one of these and they work great been using it for years..I am sitting here with the smell of burning metal and plastic stuck in my nostrils
haven't had that since I was a fireman
almost lost the greenhouse
propane heater ran fine outside for a little bit, then fine inside, I put it on lower setting
and left, after checking ceiling with hand and temp gun. All was fine
came back outside a few minutes later, was filling up an empty seedling tray with starter soil, makes a mess so better
to do it over the lawn. Was almost done, and what's that nasty electrical burning plastic smell?
oh no
I race back to the greenhouse and it was just fine.
But I hard a loud tapping sound I knew wasn't right
opening the plastic zipper I saw the heater was on fire, or at least all the
plastic on back of unit was black and smoking, probably seconds from igniting.
lovely
quick turned off the gas at the bottle and a few seconds later it died down.
And then I got out of there but not before getting a lung full of that crappy air in there.
major carcinogens, why you wear airpacs as a fireman. Well, I didn't linger to get the plants out.
I'll go back out in a bit.
worse, I had just put three trays of seeds out there since it had gotten warm.
what a disappointment. I guess from now on I run it outdoors in middle of driveway for half an hour
before it goes inside.
spent 20 minutes online with Amazon customer service and had to strongly suggest they contact the cpsc and their own
safety committee. They didn't want it back, that's worrisome.
now going to get a small cabinet style heater, with heater closer to ground anyway.
I was using a 30 pounder and heat was up higher than I wanted anyway so best to use something that sits on the ground.
having this thing catch on fire on top of a 30 pounder sure got my attention.
now that I'm actually peering at the picture too, looks like their factory label of some sort tried to ignite.
I bet the rest of the thing is fine. Just scrape all that junk off it, wire brush it and try it again. But not sitting that close to a propane
bottle this time
thanks, I almost got the double one but bought a Comfort Glow 3 heat level cabinet heater,Drew I have one of these and they work great been using it for years..
Nope. You go out in the order that you call for taxi. They will turn me out of the way once I’m airborne though.Popgadget, when you line up at the airport, do they always let the "heavies" go first? Or do they have a smaller runway for you?
