Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 10.4C and it's presently 19.1C, overcast with a gentle breeze. There was 2.5mm of rain in the gauge @ 0900.

Again, there's not much going on for me, down here. The short 'heatwave' is over & we're back to normal temps. Good. I'm not a 'hot climate' bloke, which is why I live in Tassie.

Good evening all. 43ºF for the start, overcast, windy. Moderate wind early then slowing later, overcast broke up to partly cloudy sky, and high temp was 60ºF. Make coffee to start day, take trash out, move contents of laundry basket to laundry room, Dr check up, everything good but A1C now 6.6 . lunch, bike ride, nap, was going to grill some brats, but no newspaper to start fire

A really nice Happy Hour. Decided to do the grilling myself instead of grill your own. Not a lot of leftovers so food must have been good. 20 folks including mainland visitors.

Well, nothing that much is going on.
Battle with snow I won. My cobblestones are cold but (almost) black, good friction, no salt needed.
Have to drop off car at service shop. They will need 2 days

The highlight was when the airport workers took us for a tour of their snow removal equipment.

That truck has rear wheel steering and a mid mounted blade that comes down as well. The blade is 22 feet wide, and they tow the Cat powered broom behind it. The broom has a huge blower as well.

Would like to thank David and Sophia for the warm welcome and hospitality at his happy hour.

Yep, been enjoying the Big Island the last few days with my wife and oldest son. David has been a big help in recommending places to see, stay and eat. But I might add the food at happy hour, prepared by David and several of his neighbors was very delicious. What a nice group of people, and boy did we discuss our tractors, and construction projects.

And got treated to a nice rainbow.
This takes the cake for the furthest I’ve gone to meet another TBN person.
so my hike Saturday was down into a volcano.

And Buppies, I hope that cardinal in Hilo doesn’t bring them snow.
And there are pictures of the ocean crashing onto the streets. They opened the shorefront road today

Good Morning
27° with a high in the 40’s under clear skies again today.
But I won’t be here to enjoy it. I’ll have to settle for partly cloudy and 60° in Jacksonville.
Yesterday kept me occupied, I did a batch of research on radiant heat and combi boilers, did the manual J calculations for heat and cooling load, and head scratching on utility and equipment placement.

Took the little plane out for a ride and did some sight seeing.
Now I’ve got to up and headed to the airport. Be odd to have my work day over by 9am.

Coffee is brewing. 30° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 40° with mostly sunny skies. Afternoon sunshine Weather Guessers forecast did not show up. Paid property taxes. Got car washed while I was out. Did not get house filters changed. Got about 1/2 of limbs moved to chipper pile. Should get rest of the limbs cleaned up today. Still waiting for tax papers to arrive. Want to get that item off my to-do list.

I'm not actually up this early. I came in a took a late nap and woke up not able to go back to sleep. So, TBN I checked in on you.

Helo, I can't beleive you have had an rare day off and not that much going on! Everyone needs a day like that but not too often, right?

Ron, that's a great pic of the deer. I guess she is about a year, maybe. Maybe a little more? Has she been coming around much?

I had a whole family of deer behind the house in E. Texas a few weeks ago. Buck and Doe and three babies. I was surprised to see them all together. First time I actually saw them. I spot light out there sometimes just for the possibility I would see something and I see their eyes occasionally but not out in the open walking around until that night.

So, it's 44F now and clear. It was nice today. I went to McCoy's to get some Stihl trimmer line for the wife's string trimmer. She doesn't like to mess with spooling line and wanted some pre-spooled cartridges to drop in. I found out Stihl has discontinued that model of trimmer and those spools are hard to find even if you can find them. I guess now, I'll have to make her some spools or get her trained on spooling it herself which will never happen. So, I'll be spooling line or doing all the trimming myself. That little battery trimmer was just right for her and she really likes it.

very curious to see what temp in greenhouse is this morning, ran on low heat all night
actually have plants ready to go out, but only if it stays warm enough

have a few errands to run this morning, then back to hopefully start working on taping the gaps in the
greenhouse with white tape, and then work on rv engine cover insulation.
