this guy coming is a parts changer, that's all he does. Maybe he can rethread it but something tells me he will fail the original
I'm happy he's coming. I'd throw my back and neck out doing this.

can't leave early tomorrow morning since next stop is rigid about a 2pm check in. Which is pretty late for these places, and if I show up half an hour early they charge ten extra bucks. any place that charges fees like this go off my list for returns...

Good (Saturday/Remembrance Day) morning. Overnight Low of 16.1C and it's presently 22C (heading to a predicted 27C!). Right now there is a thunderstorm passing over with calm winds... it'll be all over by the time the parade/ceremony happens @ 1100.

The High temperature yesterday topped 33C! I was still able to finish off stacking the wood that was by the house though; dripping in sweat after that and changed into t-shirt & shorts. My legs are so white that I (almost) didn't have to put on a light in the evening.

We'll see what I get up to this arvo after the parade/ceremony. Oh, and the thunderstorm has now passed with the sun poking out.

That's about it, take care all.

45F and clear @ 18:00, heading to around 34F for the low overnight. High today hit 56F, low this morning was 36F.

Finished mowing front and grinding up leaves and straw on newly planted area.

Also did same on east side down here around the house plus a little more on west side.

Ran out of fuel while doing the front so I had to run down to the corner to get 4 gallons of gas.

Took vac motor apart and checked the brushes last evening, they looked fine. No evidence of any oil leakage.

Need to hang the vac back on the wall after dinner.

Doe wanted to know if that lion was going to get her fawn. Have you seen the new Ducati single super motard? Looks pretty enticing, but at $15K, not for me.

Ended up working about 1/2 the day on zoom calls and emails. I enjoyed the zoom meeting of "the minds".

Fixed my MIL's 2004 Dodge front left turn bulb. Walmart didn't stock the 4157NA bulb. Vato Zone had them, had to pay about a $3 premium to let them sell it to me. Their headlamp bulbs are ridiculously overpriced compared to Rock Auto.

About to take the chicken pot pie casserole over to our friends house.

Evening all!
Currently 36 going down to 34 before heading back up to a high of 43 tomorrow.

Heading out early in the morning for my first ever craft fair. I have 3 boxes of projects I'm bringing with me. Was supposed to share a table with my sister but she is very sick with what can't be mentioned!
Hopefully I sell enough to pay for the table/entrance fee.
Phone call from the tractor place complaining that the bottom of my bucket is to far worn out and needs replacing. Will cost almost as much as a new one. Problem is mine has numerous add ons that I don't want to lose!
They will do the cutting edge free but want $500 more for the other work!

Put 4 more hours into leaf wrangling today. Way to windy to do a proper job. Oak leaves are still up there laughing as they won't drop till I give up waiting! I already put the big machine away once. Not doing that again till all are down or the place is snow covered.
Latest project is a 3 by 1 1/2 ish Apple wood pill bottle.

Oh well! Getting late here.

Good evening all. yesterdays post ended up in edit window. 62ºF for the start, rain, light breezy. Moderate wind, on and off rain, and high temp was 65ºF at midnight, low temp forecast to be 48ºF. Inside day, outside was already wet and raining. Puttered for a while. After lunch got some laundry done and made fire in the insert. Stepdaughter brought us dinner tonight.
