Yesterday I got high test gas for $1.879/L. Does that count as cheap gas?

In South Texas it's common. If anyone asks about a place to eat, well, we have both kinds, Mexican and Tex-Mex.

Good evening all. Well TBN did it again, my post was put back in the edit window. No posts past 9:30 last night and restart at 3:43 AM CST. 43ºF for the start, partly cloudy, breezy. light wind, moderate gusts, sky variable cloudiness, high temp 62ºF. Putter to start day, got more bills paid, load of laundry done. Warmed up enough go get bike ride in before trip to Sherman, No lunch, Went yo Sherman piked up bike(Volagi), Panera's, and got gas for $2.499 /gal and Murphy's. No nap.

Just passed the 2 stations in town that have price wars for our area.
Both $2.58/gallon for gas
$3.58/gallon for diesel

So your diesel needs to get 38% better mileage to make it worth it to drive diesel. Unless you're hauling a heavy load/big trailer.

But if you factor in the $15k extra a diesel costs.....well, you just had better have a need to use all that extra torque to quantify it. OTOH, if you just like the torque acceleration rush, and you can afford it, have fun!

Poured first cup of coffee. 28° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 47° with partly cloudy skies. Got shop cleaned up from sawdust. Had to clean vacuum. Got pond net cleaned off of leaves. Blew off leaves around gardens. That was enough for the day. Going to get mower out and windrow leaves for easy pickup with trak-vac today.

I might be driving out of it, as rain doesn't get all the way down to Georgia. But for now, steady rain.
going to be a slow quiet morning, can't leave until 11am or I'll get to next place too early. Going to be going slow in the rain.

what a night. Terrible neighbor, older couple who had guests show up.
Three dogs barking woke me up at 9:30pm, 11:30pm and when guests left with much noise and banging of doors, again at 12:30. The guy did not apologize when I told him he had woken me up three times and said great when I said I would file a complaint.
what a jerk. So I sent an email to the front desk this morning. Hope they don't let him in again.

friends tell me it is super hot in Florida. 50 here this morning, makes for nice sleeping without the ac running.

Drizzled enough off and on yesterday to prevent outside activities, except taking a nice long hike. Then went on to town to pick up groceries and diesel for the tractor and mower. Kyle, Diesel was .98 more than regular gas.

PC, 76 to start going to 87 ! The weather on my phone says chance of showers again, but looking off of our balcony, it looks promising!

Only about 50 or 60 pages left in the book, it was a very good read !

The other couple that we are here with have two of their friends coming in this afternoon ! He was a chief in the NYFD, so I’m sure I will have something in common with him, and also something to talk about !

that substantial rain is headed into the South right now.
Several inches of rain predicted all the way down Florida Wed and
Thursday. Today I'm in Savannah, tomorrow on the beach at Flagler Beach FL, then to my destination in Delray Beach.

one of the positives about this little rv is that the roof is a solid piece of fiberglass, not a membrane roof. So pretty unlikely to leak, except the caulked areas. Those need some attention I'm sure.

very sandy here, will be a mess putting away electric and water lines, wet, covered in sand, in the rain. Next stop I'll have to clean them off

34 outside this AM, heading to upper 50's.

Busy and sad start to the weekend yesterday. Neighboring farm lost their barn. By the time fire crews could get to it, it was already collapsing. 4AM Saturday. It was a show piece, horse event place, in excess of 6000 square feet. Total loss. Our properties are covered with large ashes, here. Animals were involved too. Most unfortunate.

Managed to secure some granite counter tops for the bathroom in the Milk House yesterday. Also turned on Mr. Cool to heat for the first time. Nice and cozy this AM. Need to find some tiles today. Don't repeat this - but with the SO, it will be an all day event. LOL.

Hope all have a great weekend. Today for me, is a somber day of reflection and remembrances for family and friends who have served.

Good morning! 53˚F heading to a high of only 60˚ with cloudy skies and a North breeze.

Home work day for PT and the a bit on the indoor bike out to be plenty today.

I'm so ready to get started on the estate again but I have to make a trip and driving really make my knee to ankle swell even with compression stockings on. So maybe next week. We still have a lot to clean up by with throwing it away or giving it away. I really have to get back out there to see what's left. Kyle did you see anything left of interest?

We are rewatching/streaming the 3 seasons of "Detectorists" on Freevee. A good dry comedy.
