Good morning, the low is 30 and going to a high of 45°F. Wind ESE 11 mph. Right now light snow, changing over to rain later as the temp rises above freezing.

I am not sure what I will get into today, but rest assured it wont be much.

Good Morninng!!!! 60F @ 3:15AM. Overcast with rain showers at times. High around 65F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
After dinner we picked up about 0.3" of rain, all in one hour.

Spent a fair amount of time mounting a large air compressor on a pallet yesterday, only to find out the combo is too tall to fit through the trailer door. Had the same problem with the bead blasting cabinet, but was able to take off the blower motor and clear. My buddy and I were both pretty bushed by the time dinner time rolled around.

Headed south with another load today, hopefully with less drama than the last one.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly. . .).

30.7F going to low 70s, sunny day forecasted.

took dogs for walk up the woodlot, Harry walked in a perfectly civilized manner, including on part of the lot he had never been on before. A month ago, he would have nearly dislocated my shoulder on the new ground. Very pleased with updated training! Remembered to bring phone, took pix of insulation job:

some leftover batts to put back in storage, to offset the initial bundle. The unopened bundle of batts is going to be returned sometime this week

I have come up with a crazy idea to make the batts more manageable and storable, now that they have been released from their packaging: several pieces of wood, spaced about 2” apart, with words laid between, then a couple boards laid across the first pieces of wood at 90°, cardboard sheet atop the boards, pile up the bats, repeat the bottom layer in reverse, then compress it all down with the excavator. Tie off the corsage, release the excavator compression, remove bundle from boards. Whaddya think?


today’s tasks will begin with changing over to the heavy winter drapes, then a trip up to woodlot to install more boards on the cabin shed walls, now that insulation is in.

Good Morning
It’s 36 and might gain 20 degrees by this afternoon. Skies are mostly clear and no rain forecast.

Yesterday went according to plan, except that FedEx was closed so while I did get the speaker box banded, it’s still in my shop. Got the little airplane delivered to the avionics shop in Allentown, son drove up and picked me up.
Flying RC aced out shop cleanup, it was pretty breezy for the models, but the challenge was fun and they remained unscathed.

Loaded the grain bins in the barn, gave Zoe a good run, and then went to son’s to sit around the fire pit and watch the Eagles win on the outdoor TV. He has quite the setup outside with surround sound and subterranean sub woofers. The speakers are concealed as rocks, but are surprisingly hi-fi.

Today is off to Vero Beach, get speaker to FedEx when I get back, then OddFellows meeting tonight. So the day is pretty well spoken for.

Kilroy, nice job on your shed insulation! How big is your shed ? My shed that I put my Model A in is 12’ by 20’. Should have gotten the 24’ long unit, my wife is loading one end with toys that the grandkids use during the summer months !
I am thinking of doing the same thing ! What are your plans for interior sheathing ?
