what a treat to hear from Helo again.

picked four big blackberries while I waited for some burgers to cook on barbecue.
good burger, dreamed it was that shrub wrecking buck I was eating...

put slide back out on rv, will work inside it tomorrow as weather is forecast to be wet.
I want to double clamp the hose clamps and run all the water for awhile.
Then I need to organize my tool kit, big decisions on what makes the cut.

Got another 20 plants in the ground this afternoon, temp was in the mid-50’s … didn’t seem too bad … but my nose was running and my feet were cold by the time I came in.

Also got a count on both the holes in the fabric left to fill (28) with plants and the plants that still need to go in the ground (56).

Not sure what I’ll do about that if anything.

Sure would be a shame to waste the plants so will probably figure out somewhere to put them.

Woman has a beef roast in the oven, also made banana bread.

My weather station not working after the power line fuse blew last night. Or maybe it's just a battery. not sure.
busy day.
Up early to catch breakfast with the crew. Then straight to the church to prep for the Memorial for a members mom who passed away. It was a very nice event. I led the songs for it. I recorded it for the family to watch later.
When I got home I decided to mow, got all leaves mowed up, all the grass done. Ended up doing it all, even down along the creek.
Then I finished digging the rest of the potatoes, half a row, almost a bucket full. Was getting dark when I decided to winterize the camper, so that is now done.
Late supper, and then went over the sermon I'm giving tomorrow.
Pretty day, rain and cold comes tomorrow.

It is getting close to time to start getting chains on for the season, hoping I can wait for a bit longer.
Going to have to order 3 more pair for this year, may end up driving over your way to pick them up.
It will be several hundred dollars less.
It will be interesting this year I'll be chaining up the smallest tractor tire I've ever chained up when I get them for the little Koiti
it's got 15-19.5's. It will be interesting to see if my normal method of driving them on works on them.

Coffee is brewing. 41° with rain this morning. Heading to 48° with rain most of the day. Got generator oil changed. Washed car. Neighbor was headed to Rural King. Went with him. Found a 2.5 gallon gas can on sale. Stopped on way home and filled it with Recreational Gas. Much easier to lift when filling of tank in Mule. Watch some NASCAR this afternoon. Nothing else planned for today.

Morning all!
48 now and pretty much staying there all day. Was such a nice day yesterday I decided to tackle a stone and brick project in the back yard. Hopefully will stop some of the erosion from storms. After that spent a few hours blowing leaves. Had to stop as the wind was knocking them down and around faster than I could pick them up! Might try to get some up today depending on how quick the rain starts.
Heading for coffee at a sister's around 10. Should be back in a few hours so see what I can do.
Bought a lightbox set up to see if I can get some better pics of my projects. Might play with that if the weather keeps me inside. Not as sore as I expected from yesterdays work so we will see what happens.
Got my new glasses Friday. Nice to be able to see again! One project from the shop added. Candle stick holders.

Good morning, the low is 31 and the high is going to 45°F. Wind SE 7 mph. Cloudy.

It might be 31 outside, but it is a balmy 77 in here.

I see the shyster in Ottawa has removed the federal tax on home heating oil for the next 3 years. That will save me about $80.oo/fillup. Now if we could get the Premier to remove the Provincial tax on the oil, we would be in great shape.

Energy conservation day today.

Have a safe day all
