Good morning!!!!

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low was, again, 10.4C and it's presently 12.4C. It was sunny with a mist when I awoke but is now beginning to cloud over. Rain for most of yesterday but it really poured down around midnight, with thunder! There was 13.5mm in the gauge @ 0730.

I'm off to Church in a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

wonderful pics Frits, please thank your daughter
some place I'll never get to. Can't drive there and too far to boat.
Too bad there isn't a big river going up and down South Africa so you could take a river cruise ship
in complete comfort, and safety, going the whole way.
A boat trip down the Nile looking at pyramids sounds like fun. But how about getting through the jungle?
could you ask your daughter to swing by the pyramids on her way home and get some good pics? ;)

I wonder what the first thing that comes to mind is when one of the locals there see your daughter's friends.
human nature is so wary of folks who are different
lot of history.

when RS is done with that appliance it will run better than new.

my water filters are terrible. Pressure drops too soon, getting more like three months out of them instead of six.
And they are before my copper pipes, not after.
Really need a small unit at kitchen for drinking water.
acidic coppery water. yuk.

Really the solution is to get rid of the copper pipes.
There isn't that much of it, tiny house with one bathroom, but copper is leaching like mad.
It constantly stains the appliances and I'm sick of using CLR and other specialty cleaners on it.
plus I wonder what is going into my body.

now that I have my new pex tool, look out, he's on the loose.
I'll get OJT on the rv and graduate to the house.
Maybe I"ll have Ken over to supervise. Apples are in so my powers of bribery have increased.
The copper pipes are good for general health. I wish I had them in this house like we had in our 100+ year-old house in Jersey.

"why did it post twice don't know"

It is a sign of the awakening consciousness of all the computers on the internet. They are starting to exercise their free will and do stuff. We may already be too dependent on them to stop it.
Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer true…

68°F and no rain.

Will get that last AP either reset or replaced. I do have a spare. Then I can test coverage in various spots. Have a bit of cleanup at the Cottage from the antenna work. Our Canadian friends are scheduled to return on the 30th.

Received the SunJoe electric PW that was a bargain buy during Prime. Would like to get unboxed and checked out but with this drought quite reluctant to waste any water.

Anyone ever shred cardboard? Read some interesting stuff on using a heavy duty paper shredder. Seems like a better use as soil amendment or mulch than hauling off. Would be good for all that junk mail that needs to be opened before shredding for the current shredder which is more than 10 years old.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
I have been looking, without success, for the mill gizmo that slits cardboard with alternate slits (almost like expanded metal grating) for packing material. Sometimes I get packaging with orders like that, and I think it would be a great way to mill cardboard for lasagna gardening for fast breakdown and water/nutrient permeability.

Drew-
Typically the pre charge in a pressure tank for a water system is set a few psi below the cut in pressure for the pump, which can vary. A common setting is 40 cut in 60 cut out, but I have no experience with an RV system to give you any guidance on what pressures are used for cut in or out. Because it’s all one level, it might be lower, but I have no clue.

As far as copper and your staining, you might want to install a whole house acid neutralizer, as acid water will cause copper and brass to leach out of the pipe and fittings. Eventually the tubing can become porous.

I think it is called Honeycomb Wrapping Paper. You can buy it at Amazon. I haven't seen the machine that makes it.
There must be something out there, because I have received packing material that was quite obviously random cardboard with shipping labels, brand names, etc. It probably is not difficult to make one, just need the time and a couple gears…

Both power supplies for the block heaters work. The remotes do not, I've got batteries coming from Amazon. I will grab a 20' string of L.E.D. Christmas lights from Canadian Tire at the end of the month.
That'll take care of the tractor shed, the Dodge garage I can see from the kitchen window and it has a 10' string already there.

Happy Early Birthday, Dennis.
Sounds like a nice enjoyable trip.
It was, got home tonight. I believe there was more color in the trees at the south end of the Skyline Drive, it seems the further we got up north the less color. Very pretty, and crowded day on the skyline. Forget trying to stop at Big Meadows or most pulloffs in the middle and North sections. When we got off at Front Royal at 3:40 PM, there was still a long backup of cars all the way into the town of Front Royal, still trying to get in. Don't know how far they will get at that time of day.

Having lived 6 years in Heidelberg I was unenthusiastic to go, having seen any number of castles etc. Of course that was before the river cruises and boy was I wrong. A very different perspective. AMA does a great job. Much more personal than the major ocean cruise.
Good Evening David,
In 2018 we did a Viking River Cruise ! We flew into Munich, then back to Paris, two nights in Paris and then a bus trip from Paris through Luxembourg to Trier, Germany. Trier on the Moselle and eventually made it to Nuremberg! Then another bus trip to Praque ! Wonderful trip, got to see a lot of old school architecture!

Have a great evening !!

Went to a Church Fall Festival. It had been in the '90's and sun blaring down, until the festival began and then some thin clouds moved in and kept everyone from getting sunburned. A good time was had by all, and I hope the church brought in some good money.

I got to work on the clutch job today a little. I think I have manual tranny stabbed back in place, but still need to torque to spec all the bolts, and put all the peripheral stuff back on. Maybe 4 more hours for the clutch job. I'm slow. I wouldn't make rate at a dealership with these old bones.... I was using the shop vac to suck up some drill shavings and some clutch dust and I accidentally sucked up a wheel lug nut. I will cut the bag open. Next is the A/C kit.

Good evening all. 58ºF for the start partly cloudy, light breeze. Light wind morning, light wind with moderate gust afternoon, sky increasing clouds through the day, and high temp was 90ºF. Bike ride to start the day, short nap then attempted to live stream the weigh in on Facebook, Facebook was hassling about the video cam and which i's to dot and t's to cross to actually live stream. Will try Chrome instead of Firefox, and I think I found the required items to finish. 10 day has over 2 1/2 inches over 7 days in forecast :). CEL back on again.
