70 outside this AM. Lower 80's expected. 96% humidity. We need rain.

Still sore from chimney roof work. Maybe by the end of the week I can move normally again. I have a window of decent weather within the next week to work with. Does not look to be super hot, which is good for attic work. Trying to schedule roofer for repair, and get more details for plumber and septic hookups. Need better breakdown on trenching, concrete removal, line runs and equipment makeup.

On Facebook, been on there since it started. When MarketPlace became available both the SO and I used it instead of CL. No bad experiences, yet. We have yet to give out anything but our item description, phone numbers and a secure public space to meet. Honestly, have not had the crazies follow us like on CL. I liked CL, it was much simpler...progress I guess.

Good morning! Today will be the coolest day in August! 72˚F heading to just 93˚ because of cloud cover and North wind. Just dropped to 71˚ and another hour before sunrise and we might see the predicted 69˚!!!

Buppies I think you are right, the reporters and writers in the news media grew up with the word "Amazing" and they have to be able to conjure up a report for their stories to reach that level.

My parents never had Facebook Market place, they just kept everything and now I have to dispose of it. So I'm pushing it to the Estate liquidator. We need more table and shelf space so today we will meet with her to try to determine which items are table worthy and which items are only dumpster worthy. My mom had a very neat house but every shelf, cabinet, drawer, attic, garage, and out building was filled.

73, foggy and humid. Getting up to 84.

Never used CL and not on FB, but glad to see they can work, but be careful. Long ago, used the "Trading Post" newspaper to buy/sell used. Bought my first surfboard that way and thought is was such a good idea. Wonder if they are still around.

We got another 1.7 inches of rain yesterday...I decided to wash windows while it was just lightly sprinkling...kept seeing heavy rain on the radar, but it would never move closer. Well, it did...I got the first 11 done and was drenched. I decided to knock off. I like washing windows when cloudy or light rain...keeps them wet longer/uses less water, but when my boots got sloshy and my clothes started sticking to me, and it was 73F, that ran me in.

Did some maintenance on my 3 pt tiller, and hooked it up. Once the ground is dry enough, will get out and till and get some fall/winter mix planted.

Good Evening Guys,
So I’m wondering if any of you guys have tried to sell anything on FB Marketplace ?
Earlier today I listed two toddler push cars. I’ve been texted twice by different people that asked if the items were still available. I said they were and then they asked for my cell number which I thought was Ok to give that out ! Then they say they want to text me a 6 number code. I didn’t see a problem with that , but when they texted me the code 22000, on my phone a message comes up that says this is your Apple ID, do not give this code to anyone ! So if I had texted the number back they would have my Apple ID , along with some other info that I’m pretty sure I don’t want to give out !! Then just a few minutes ago the same thing happens again !
And all I'm trying to do is sell some inexpensive children toys that the kids have outgrown !
I think it might be easier to just put an add in the paper, with a phone number !! Any thoughts on all of this madness ??

Good Morning
It’s 67 with a high of 80 under partly cloudy skies. Should be a dry day.

Yesterday followed the plan, more or less. Got trip done by noon, lunch at Mission BBQ, finally got the compressor installed at the restaurant, the cooler works as it should now. Interesting install, uses R290 which is propane. Took the Makita string trimmer and blower for a walk, and visited with son and grandson when they came up.

Today starts with breakfast with the professor, wife is likely coming as well. Airport Authority zoom meeting after that, then some serious clean up in the shop and paperwork.

I recognize that shop as HR Auto Radio Drew, I remember them from the 60’s.
