God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

67F going to low 80e. started raining/t-storms around midnight and going through to evening, where we might get a break befor starting to get outer band effects from Idalia.

today is an admin day, hav to drive mom to a couple appointments, then we go for our 30-day weigh-in on the diet (I am down about 22#) and maybe a quick shopping run then putter around house until we drop the Subaru off tonight for service tomorrow - car is shuddering with moderate braking over 25mph, hopefully it is just rotors and not bearing runout… because then I would have them do both sides,and while THAT is apart, I would have them do halfshafts… and if we go that far, new pads.

Harry is howling for attention.

Reading some more the number 22000 is used by google to send verification codes. Not sure exact how that transfers to apple, but definitely a scam to get access to your account.
What number does it show the txt came from?

61 to start going to 79 , and we still have humidity. Rain coming in later tonite or tomorrow morning ! Then some nice weather on the way for the long weekend !

I have no plans to give out anything more than my cell ! I dont Venmo as I told more people than I can count so far ! I just cant believe how much response I have gotten on two plastic push cars, worth a total of $20 ! The sooner these things are gone the better !

Overcast, rain tonight, maybe.
I need to get rid of so much stuff. I did pull a couple things out of basement for the trash.
Wife picked a bunch more tomatoes last night. She worked on tomatoes all day yesterday, I tried to stay out of the way.

Did some drywall patching last night to finally close the ceiling where the pipes were fixed. Still need to sand and coat again, then paint. Been a while since I did this, looks fine so far.

Another high school friend passed this week. Died in his sleep.

Started off cool this morning here in East Texas. Looking like a high in the low 90's.

Heading down to Houston with my youngest son tomorrow. Hope to get a bowl of the greatest Gumbo in the world at the Ragin' Cajun.

Need to drop a few pounds. All this hot weather and staying inside eating ice cream has put a few pounds on me.

Looking forward to getting outside for a few hours after a conference call at 9am.
