Sorry about your friend Mostly.

Bupps, I'm glad to hear you got a little sleep, hope it continues if back not too bad.

Kyle, is this installing aftermarket AC in the Traverse?
Yes, and am having some problems with the a/c system. 2nd fan not coming on. 1st fan comes on low, but will get up to high speed sometimes. I connected 2nd fan direct to 12v battery, and it spun. When I jumpered it, it seemed to need a lot of amps to get it going. It is a 2009, with 140K, so putting a new set of fans in it is not wasted money. They do go out. Checked all relays and fuses to be good. I'm starting to think maybe the HVAC controller in the console? I believe that both fans should come on high speed if the a/c is on max. It will blow really cold, until it needs the fans to be operating correctly to pull air through the condenser.

I did take apart the power window switches in the driver's and passenger's doors, and got them working good. I used some D-oxit like my buddy Ron did.

Good morning! 61° now, high of 73° or so today.

Heading out the door shortly to go to Lima, 2 days of amateur and professional racing. Forecast of possible rain is concerning, but that track will suck up a lot of water. Rider I help is racing today in the amateur races and tomorrow in the Hooligan support class of the pro race.

Everyone stay safe out there
I hope all your crew/rider have a good time.

My son has been fishing at our pond. He says, when he forgets his phone camera, is when he catches the biggest fish. He did get one photo of a 3-4lb bass. Says he's caught 3 fish at least 5 lbs. But he told me last week that near dark, he's seeing snakes. So, tonight when my wife and I drove to check on him, he had just filmed a moccasin. We went back to the house to get the shotgun, and .17 HMR. He ended blasting 3 snakes, possibly a 4th. It got dark on us and I didn't take the spot light.

Son has helped all week at vacation bible school at our church. He had a small group of mostly boys to keep up with.

Wifey made home made spaghetti and meat balls today. yummy.

My daughter got to go on vacation with her boyfriend's family to an area south of Venice Florida. Right on the beach.

Coffee has been poured. 58° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 83° with thunderstorms in afternoon. All the thistles that I could see have been cut down. Limb on pine tree was hanging down. Got pole saw out and cut it off. Did some shrub trimming after that. Need to pick all the cut offs with tractor today.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

59.0F, going to mid 80s, partly to mostly with chance of afternoon T-storms.

finally opened up the beehives, added the medium boxes to both. I had forgotten how heavy the boxes can get when they build out and fill comb, especially the upper where honey and pollen go! Cleaned up the stray burr comb, some of which had honey in it— I had to run inside the house in full bee gear to get a bowl for it (if it is just empty burr comb I simply crush it into a ball and keep working). It wasnt a lot of honey, but it made for a nice sweet treat!

the rest of the day was spent on the deck in the hammock chair, interchangeably we surfing, playing with Harry, and watching the traffic to/from the druggies. Lately they have been having foot traffic, which is quite unusual. Also, one of them has gotten a new-to-him vehicle, looks like a 2008-2009 GMC suburban (the short one) which has broken down twice in the same spot just shy of the house, and it takes an hour or two of futzing to get it running again. Then he works on it in the backyard at night, clanging and banging. Blast night that went on from about 9pm until midnight ish. Who needs cableTV when we have all this free entertainment?

maybe there will be a trip up to the woodlot today, we’ll see how things work out.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe restorative blessed day!

good morning all
66 out now going up to low 80's, with some blue sky this morning, and more thunderstorms this afternoon.

Kyle, I don't think there's anything you can't fix. Your skills are remarkable.

RS, did you ever count/weigh how much squash you grew last year?
am glad you and your wife have so much fun working on the place

have gone three days without shaving, the second day is my favorite. Getting out of shower and knowing I don't have to shave, just
dry my face off. The joys of retirement. When my wife was alive I always used to keep a spot on my cheeks well shaved.
Or I wouldn't get any kisses... I needed "smoothies" for that.

RNG, where are you now?

66 to 89. More t-storms yesterday. Final rain tally this week: 4.15"

LS, nice job on the planters.

RS, same landscape fabric we've been using...has held up well for 4 years. We cut plant holes in ours, but no burn tool, so have some fraying, not bothersome, but not neat like yours will be.

Found the missing game camera card, and confirmed it was a bear that broke down the 4" round pole with the feeder platform on top.

Enjoyed watching some of the Cubs vs. Cardinals baseball game played in London yesterday. The fans there were really excited to watch baseball, and clearly had favorite team based on all the team hats and jerseys they wore. I have some fantasy players on both teams, so was fun watching them. Another game at 10am (our time) today.

They played a time lapse video of building the baseball field in this massive soccer stadium...flew in astro turf from Canada and brought in 345 tons of special clay from Pennsylvania. The turf and clay will be removed and stored for use next year. I couldn't find a video of this year, so here's a 1-minute time lapse from 3 years ago.

Good morning, 65 going to 84 today some showers possible later on

Buppies hope your healing is coming along

Broke down the old tv yesterday in smaller pieces and put the steel pan left on the scrap pile.
Cleaned up the shop area and put tools away. Mowed some grass until a shower showed up. Grass is growing again.
Went for an ice cream run to the usual old time shop but the line on the street was very long so went for a nice drive instead along Potomac river on the Maryland side. Lots of hikers and campers and nice scenery.

Kyle, hope you figure out the fan operation. I installed an AC system in the old Volvo using parts from the junk yard and an old York piston compressor. Got hoses made and used new drier of course. Worked well. Used a second York unit converted to be used as an air compressor for the shop. On board air and air horns have saved us several times from accidents. How people can miss a 9 ft tall van is beyond me

You mean you have never seen a car blocking a fire truck running full lights/sirens/airhorns and the driver is completely oblivious?
