Good morning!!!!

Breakfast with the crew on the mountain. New young girl waiting on us, her first breakfast table. We took good care of her, tipped well, and told the boss she did a great job.
Drive by church building and once again had to reboot HDMI equipment to get it to work. I have 2 different HDMI switches on order, hope to find one that works ok.
Nap this afternoon.
We got .25” rain overnight, think I might have the leak fixed, at least know the location. Just a little damp on porch, but that might have been from yesterday.
Sunny and breezy now.
Just grilled steaks for supper.
Starlink mesh unit acting up again.
Cats all fed, including snagglepuss who is rolling around on porch in front of meView attachment 807584

Good Morning.
68 and sunny going to 80 with a chance of thunderstorms.

Yesterday was busy with a myriad of small tasks from welding out door furniture to replacing a throttle position sensor on a Prius for a friend. Didn’t get to the Ash tree, maybe today.

For today, I’d like to do some, if not all of the mowing, and cut down and cut up the dead ash tree. But mid day, I want to go over to the RC club field and bring a model to fly over there. So it might be a busy day.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 6:30AM in Klamath Falls, OR.
Scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. High 74F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Things went pretty smoothly at the dealership yesterday, aside from a small disagreement over an arbitration clause in the finance office. That was the one condition I strongly objected to on the sale, but it was mandatory at the dealership, I asked to speak with the owner about it, but was denied. Having come all that way for the pickup, I eventually acquiesced. But the rest of the experience was absolutely no pressure, take your time, and let's make sure you're happy. The test ride was fine, we picked up the ramp at HF without issue, and there were plenty of helpful hands to get the bike loaded when the time came. There was a bit of trouble getting the phone and van talking, but pushing an "Assistant" button on the overhead console got a live person on the line to clear things up. I'll need to push that button one more time to resolve a charging issue on wireless phone charger pad, and somehow one of the ratchet straps holding the motorcycle down got loose and there was an anxious moment or two before I could get parked and get it tightened up again. I couldn't get the map on the navigation system to display north up, and got turned around at a rest stop for a few minutes before I figured out I was going the wrong direction. Very pretty scenery, so I didn't mind too much. Otherwise the van ran fine for the 330 some miles to Klamath Falls, and wasn't nearly as noisy as the VW, which in itself was a huge improvement.

The roads were very pretty, nicely paved state routes that ran up and over the Cascade mountains to the high desert, then basin and mountain state routes down to Klamath Falls. That's Mount Hood peeking over the horizon in the photo above. The little 3.5L V6 didn't have any problems going up the passes, though I kept my foot out of it during these break in miles. Hit some pretty strong wind and heavy rain around Bend, Oregon, and could feel the van being buffeted around, but nothing as wild as what I've felt in the VW van. Even so, it's clear a sway bar is needed for the rear axle, so I'll get one ordered through the local dealer.

Not sure what's on today's agenda, but my buddy's been trouble shooting an electrical problem on one of his Airhead motorcycles, so it's likely we'll be fooling with that. DeOxIt may figure prominently in that work. Probably be on the road again tomorrow, and now starting to wonder how I'll get the bike unloaded safely. Might be time to move enough dirt to make a loading dock.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!

We got 1.7" of badly needed rain yesterday and overnight. :D some small hail, wind and lightning, but not severe. Washed out the Butler County Fair "Scrambles" though.

Morning all, 80 going up to 83 and feels hot/humid.
Walked the town yesterday, and dog walk at peddlers village.
Kid was tired from work last night, first big Saturday night at the store :)

I took him to the record store the other day so he could spend some of his earned money, he will put some in an account too to save up.

PopGadget - be careful with the Ash, I only do plunge cuts on them since so many barberchaired.

RNG - Congrats on the new Van- some new adventures await.

Be Well,

Good morning! Low of 53°, heading towards 91°. I guess summer is finally here..... At least the wind will be light. Still no precip showing up in the 10 day.

RNG, good to hear the van is meeting some good expectations. Beautiful road pics.

Drew, good that the RV service went well. One more check-off done before the trip!

Kyle, hope you're able to fix the fan issue without too much difficulty.

Kilroy, sounds like quite the entertainment. Hope they keep it relatively quiet.... and 'over there'....
Hope you can get up to the woodlot.

Ken, neat pics ... like the train.

Agenda for today is to get the plants into the planter. That will probably use up all the available energy allocated for the day.

Everyone have a great day!

68°F and .36 inches rain.

Sunday again, another week flown by.

Didn’t get anything special at Costco. Unless the TV I ordered online counts. The $30 delivery fee plus the fact my choice wasn’t available for pick up. Replacing older Panasonic plasma bought in 2007 with 85in Sony Bravia. Will put older set on Craigslist for free.

Expect to power wash the pool pump house, prep for painting Tues.

RSVPs trickling in for 4th of July potluck.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
