Question on a battery chainsaw. Which size would you recommend? 14" or 16"?
14" is plenty. My Dewalt is 12" and is real useful. The bigger stuff gets done by the gas units.Question on a battery chainsaw. Which size would you recommend? 14" or 16"?
I buck my firewood to 18", so put a Stihl 18" bar on my Makita. Seems to work just fine, but I can't load it like I do the gas Stihl with the same bar.Question on a battery chainsaw. Which size would you recommend? 14" or 16"?
5 years ago I had all gas saws and trimmers. My right shoulder went bad. Probably from pulling start cord on my Stihl tools. Today I have a Extend It group of tools from Ryobi. I still cannot easily start a gas powered tool. All I have left with gas is a Echo blower and a Ryobi power head for the extend it tools. Very hard for me to start these tools. About ready to give them to my young neighbor. Thanks for all the info on chainsaws. Will look at u-tube video tonight to see what they have to say..
I currently do not own any battery powered tools. Everything is gas. Echo backpack blower & weedeater..Would not give up either one of these.. My gas saws are worn out and I don't need them much anymore..
