It did, and I apparently got past the jinx this time. Had an interview on Monday with an electronics manufacturer for the Production Manager position at one of their three facilities. They made me an offer today, and I accepted. Will give my notice at the current job on Monday, and my start date for the new job is December 12.
It's in Illinois. I am really looking forward to not having to work in that North St. Louis war zone anymore.

dinner done, I'm tuckered out, up at 4am and drove 5 hours, time to crawl into
overly soft bed and read my kindle til it falls out of my hand.
hmmmm, thick carpet at home, hardwood floors here. better not drop it, screen is already cracked.
