71F and "Fair" @ 11:30, heading up to around 76F for the high today. Rather windy though. Mix of sun and clouds. Chance of rain this evening as front moves through.

Hopper feeder refilled first thing yesterday, also two suet feeders.

Moved cleaned fluorescent fixtures back over to barn.

Pallets juggled around.

Three sheets of OSB put up and pin nailed into place. Still need screwed down.

Some bird/critter block installed with new pneumatic Arrow staple gun, other sections had more staples added.

Lights moved and relocated.

1 1/2" and 2" foam board installed into two bays and screwed in. Insulation now flush with the interior edge of poles in those bays.

All three work tables moved and juggled around, reclaimed shorter wooden saw horses for use with taller table. Still need to set that one up.

More leaves and debris clean up.

Electrical outlets on north wall and north end of back wall vacuumed and then blown out with compressed air. The holes those are will get sealed up with Great Stuff today.

Came over and ate dinner around 20:00, went back over and worked until 23:45. Long day.

Located two (hopefully good) cans of Great Stuff when I came back over to the house. Best used by dates of Jan 2022, those will probably work better than the ones that were over in the barn which had use by dates of 2006 ...

Agenda for today:

Dole out meds for this coming week.

More clean up over at barn, haul trash from barn up to can at the road.

Three more sheets of OSB to put up.

Put up more bird/critter block on eave openings.

Seal up around electrical outlet boxes and front man door with Great Stuff.

Get 2 x 8 x 14 put up across center overhead door opening.

Move two pallets of 2 x 4's inside.

Move other pallets which I don't want to get wet inside before rain gets here.

Big cold front due in this coming Thursday/Friday, calling for low temps on Saturday/Sunday only in the high 20's with highs only in the low 40's ......

That may spell the end of barn activities for the year. Just have to see how it works out with it sealed up - if there is sun it does get pretty good heat gain so it's possible we might get some more work in.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday ... (y)

70°F and 1.0 inches rain.

Dryer this morning, but will it be dry enough to finish mowing?

I do need to pick up at PO.

Managed to expose some of the work bench
surface, but not all of it.

Meeting our LA/Happy Hour friends in town for dinner.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Afternoon all!
70 degree day but the wind is so strong leaf duty is held off till another time. Wife's ankle is much better! Hopefully doc appt. on Thursday will be good news!
As for me...every step forward I take I get knocked back two.
Fingers and toes are better but changing off of that med has my heart going bonkers! Trying another med now. (this is expensive) Needs to settle down or doc will send me to specialist. Going to give it a few more days.
Did manage to play in the wood shop some this morning.
Hope everyone else stays safe and healthy.

Inventory is done...at least my part (actually counting parts) is done...
Now it's up to the bean counters...

Nice day...low 70's and a bit cloudy. Doggo is on the deck...obviously, I'm typing this on a living room table (actually, a smaller round dining room table) about 10' from the open deck door.
I'm debating, do I want to do some outside work...or, take a nap? 0500 reveille was pretty early. I think the nap on the sofa is gonna win out...in a bit.

Added:
Just received a Blu Ray set from Amazon...5 WW II movies, all British:

These 1950's Limey war movies are great...never watched on I was disappointed in...

Good afternoon
It’s a wonderful day in the 70’s both at home and in Concord, NH where I’ll be until a bit after 5.

Yesterday’s trip to HF was productive, I think that the light I got will work well.
Seniors came and visited the alpacas without incident, and bought a lot of alpaca products.
Got all the bulk mowing done and a good start with the Lazer. Got to play music, and had a good time last night.

Today I had to go to work, if you can call this work. I’m typing this at a restaurant waiting for my chicken pot pie to cool off.

Apple employee who checked us in actually cancelled our reservation. Guy eventually came to check when we were about only people left.
He put us at top of list.
Turns out sons iPhone had a screen protector, and it was only thing cracked. Son bought phone refurbished, didn’t know it had screen protector. Saved him $200.

Eating at Red Robin. Yum.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 9C with a predicted High of 22C. Sunny and calm.

Not much planned for today, just Church in a wee bit although I may get a request to put out a round of hay into paddock #1.

Take care all.

As expected, the nap won out...very refreshing
Fed Margeaux and she'll chow down when she comes in (been out on the deck and back yard since I got home).

Got the plastic tubing I ordered to extend the length of the funnel to fill the tractor's windshield washer fluid. I should have ordered a larger ID (9/16ths or 5/8ths). Hard to find those ID's. I can probably slit the tubing and force it on, then use a hose clamp...project for tomorrow, I think. Getting dark now...
An English Muffin and a bottle of Boost a while back (before the nap). That pretty much filled me up. At least I am regaining my appetite and taste...

70F cloudy.
Gave homestead good leaver blowing at time work up good sweat  but as I look out the window wind swirling oak leaves flying here and there, winds blowing leaves from the woods  almost wasteful effort today.

Will be setting on the deck soon with feet up with enjoying warm temps.

Turn your clocks back. :(

Enjoy your evening all.

kenmbz, tell me about it...I live in the center of 5 acres of pine and tamarack trees. The pines aren't the problem, the tamaracks are and we are right in the middle of needle dropping season.

Roy, I have The Dam Busters and have enjoyed it many times.

now that's daylight savings time, Wagtail is getting up already...

wasted afternoon, got to my 4:15 hair appt ten minutes early, and was told they had me down at 1:15.
No...but he was tied with doing perms on two women and clearly had no time for me. Goofed that up I guess but I remember wondering
why it was so late in the afternoon.

but I did remember to buy Powerball tickets. 1 1/2 billion dollars or something foolish.
if you actually win it, probably have to go in hiding.
No problemo, Out Islands in the Bahamas here I come.
where I can drive a tractor on my own beach
I'll be polishing this fantasy until I wake up tomorrow morning and find that, as usual, not one number matches. None.

Thanks for reminder Thomas. Thankfully pc and smart phone automatically do it to remind me. I have three more clocks to change.

I always thought grandfather clocks were neat. dong dong dong no automatic resets there
only have room for a mantle clock but have my eye on one that chimes.

I can hardly tell I mowed leaves behind house couple days ago.

No visual crack that would indicate leak at top of camper , but I spread a whole tube of Dicor. Once you open it, might as well use it.

I did wipe down with rubbing alcohol first to clean the surface. Also stuck some above the front marker lights, and where coax goes thru from tv antenna, and around radio antenna.
There’s no way it’s coming from further back.

Had it all cleaned up last spring, stuff comes back quick.

Roy, I have The Dam Busters and have enjoyed it many times.
I have "The Dam Busters" as a blu ray too. It also came with this collection which also includes:
Went the Day Well
The Colditz Story
Dunkirk (1950's version)
Ice Cold in Alex (which I also have as a solo Blu Ray)

I've never seen "The Colditz Story", but I have seen the rest...I just really enjoy movies and some I enjoy repeatedly...annually or biennially.
Christmas season, I always like the 1950 version of "A Christmas Carol" (British flick) and "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart.
I like American war movies too..."They Were Expendable", "12 O'Clock High", 30 Seconds Over Tokyo", "The Enemy Below" (free on YouTube) and "Destination Tokyo" are my favorites.
Another good one is based upon a true event..."The Man Who Never Was"...this was recently remade for one of the cable channels...didn't much care for that, so look for the 1956 (give or take a year) British version. The event was a WW II operation:

We saw on the news there was a tornado in Paris, Tx. The strange thing about it, I was looking online at some property there yesterday morning..... wifey said that property has been scratched off the list.....
There's always Sulphur Springs, just baby tornados there.
Check out the cows at 1:49 in the video.
