71F and "Fair" @ 11:30, heading up to around 76F for the high today. Rather windy though. Mix of sun and clouds. Chance of rain this evening as front moves through.
Hopper feeder refilled first thing yesterday, also two suet feeders.
Moved cleaned fluorescent fixtures back over to barn.
Pallets juggled around.
Three sheets of OSB put up and pin nailed into place. Still need screwed down.
Some bird/critter block installed with new pneumatic Arrow staple gun, other sections had more staples added.
Lights moved and relocated.
1 1/2" and 2" foam board installed into two bays and screwed in. Insulation now flush with the interior edge of poles in those bays.
All three work tables moved and juggled around, reclaimed shorter wooden saw horses for use with taller table. Still need to set that one up.
More leaves and debris clean up.
Electrical outlets on north wall and north end of back wall vacuumed and then blown out with compressed air. The holes those are will get sealed up with Great Stuff today.
Came over and ate dinner around 20:00, went back over and worked until 23:45. Long day.
Located two (hopefully good) cans of Great Stuff when I came back over to the house. Best used by dates of Jan 2022, those will probably work better than the ones that were over in the barn which had use by dates of 2006 ...
Agenda for today:
Dole out meds for this coming week.
More clean up over at barn, haul trash from barn up to can at the road.
Three more sheets of OSB to put up.
Put up more bird/critter block on eave openings.
Seal up around electrical outlet boxes and front man door with Great Stuff.
Get 2 x 8 x 14 put up across center overhead door opening.
Move two pallets of 2 x 4's inside.
Move other pallets which I don't want to get wet inside before rain gets here.
Big cold front due in this coming Thursday/Friday, calling for low temps on Saturday/Sunday only in the high 20's with highs only in the low 40's ...
...

That may spell the end of barn activities for the year. Just have to see how it works out with it sealed up - if there is sun it does get pretty good heat gain so it's possible we might get some more work in.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday ...
