Don, can I ask if it's a one time payment or settlement, or can you set it up to pay you monthly for as long as the pipeline is there?
One time.
After they pay and if they go bankrupt you still keep the money. Also added abandonment, liability and a few other amendments.

Drew, my GPS tried to take me thru Milton last week, but I went south thru Georgetown.

Finally got car loan squared away. I suspect the loan guy was out sick, he sounded bad talking to him on phone. Probably pick it up tomorrow night.

Kitty enjoying a good petting.

.53” rain today.

Good (Friday) morning. Overnight Low of 11C and it's now 18.3C, which is above the predicted High. The 'rain event' appears to be over with my gauge showing 68.6mm! (I believe that that's over 2" in the 'old scale') Lots of big puddles everywhere and there are currently 3 flood evacuation orders in Nth Central Tasmania. I'm good here on the NE coastal area. The sun is shining with a moderate breeze and the ground is like a sodden sponge to walk on.

My water tanks are full. 😄

Nothing planned until this arvo when I'll head over to Pyengana to meet up with the Radio Club blokes, who will be operating the checkpoints for tomorrow's Endurance Race, IOT suss-out where they'll need me.

That's about it, take care all.

Wagtail, that is about 2.7" of rain.

Well, I got the town and dump run done and that was all. got back inside and jumped down the you tube rabbit hole. The Tomkat just helped me eat some frozen yogourt, he gets the vanilla (cream) part of the peaches and cream. He is only good for about a teaspoon full and I have no problem giving it to him.
The way to a cats heart is through his stomach.

If it isn't raining too hard tomorrow, then I will attempt to start the conveyor again and put the rest of the wood inside.

Great pics as usual, thank you gents!

Texas Chicken in Thailand. hummm?

RNG, I meant to tell you I'm sorry about your vanagan....I know you've been through it many times over. It's just that black magic stuff that happens in the black boxes of engine management, or an intermittent short in a wire buried deep in a harness somewhere or something... Got to be frustrating. I feel your pain. Glad your bike is running good.

Where is LS? I pray he's alright.

Work was good, but still a lot on my plate. 3 immediate bosses, 25 faculty or more, and now students with their capstone projects...

I can only guess someone complained about my post that was deleted. Maybe they like high fuel prices. I guess facts hurt some peoples feelings.

I bought a non self leveling builders level when I built my barn. I would like a strong laser that I can use outdoors. Would love to do topo elevations with one. I do have stick. My FIL had a theodolite for surveying. I haven’t found it since he passed away. The sticks and tripods are in his barn. I know it had a case it went in. When I built my house I used it to level my basement beam.

Good Evening
It’s rained all day, supposed to be clear tomorrow. Spent all day tidying up and preparing for a training session tomorrow. Had to make sure the projector worked and I had my presentation PowerPoint ready to go.
Been a while, and I’ve got stuff scattered over various network and portable drives.
At any rate it’s all set and ready to fire up in the morning, there will be four people attending. All have been through this before, I’ve already printed all their completion certificates, and I anticipate signing them tomorrow, I hope I didn’t jinx them.

Other than filling the car with nearly $4 gas, didn’t do much else.

49F and cloudy @ 23:45, heading down to a low of 39F in the overnight. 59% chance of showers and radar is showing some rain just off to the north and west and to the south and east. We are in the dry slot.

Good day today despite the late start.

Cleaned out bucket on Kubota which had some mud in it.

Got torpedo heater dug out, tires aired up, and moved over to the pole barn.

Also aired up 2 of the tires on the hay wagon (need to move it closer to get the other two)

Also got another bucketload of tools and supplies (gutter covers) moved over to the barn as well.

Sort out started on the PT wood and taking some nails out of other wood.

But mostly worked on garage clean up and organizing. Good progress there, but still a ways to go.

Woman did some housecleaning to start, then came out to assist with the garage.

She fixed up some Sloppy Joes for dinner after we ended for the day and came inside.

Spent this evening doing additional research on the rest of the materials needed for the barn and adding to the BOM list.

Next 3 days are supposed to be nice with highs of around 60F.

I am looking forward to having Her here to assist, now that she's officially done at the Fed ... :giggle:

Hope everyone had a great day ... (y)

Just a quick update... the Pyengana Endurance Race has been cancelled. I found out by 'rumour' and then confirmed it via Facebook messenger once the organiser got their power back. It was the sensible thing to do as pictures showed the St Columba Falls Road (main road through Pyengana) completely flooded plus the Tasman Highway through Goshen in a similar condition. It would've been extremely difficult for everyone to reach Pyengana under these conditions plus hazardous for the horses and their riders on the difficult, slippery and undulating, trails.

I was surprised to see a good portion of Deloraine flooded... it was one of the places that I'd considered buying back in '98. It'll take a few days for all of this rainwater to flow/drain through the rivers to the sea.

Wish that I could send some (but not all) of the over 5" of rain we've copped over the past fortnight to those in drought in N.A..

Take care all.

Hi everybody !
This week has been rather busy. Now I am in Milano for woodworking machinery show. Actually it is not in Milan city but little bit outside, which is nice. All big cities gives nothing but depression to me

Weather here is nice

Really cant figure out why they are complaining about air quality. To me it is fine

View from hotel's window. Just look on their cars. How many brands / models you can recognise ?

Another day where actual productivity fell short of plans. Still a good day and pleased with what I did get done.

54 going to 70 and nice sunshine.

Kyle, sounds like quite a challenge having that many bosses. Yes, I saw the walk off...but am worried about Verlander. I think I mentioned that he grew up and played high school ball near here.

RNG, we met a guy in the mountains in the parking lot at a waterfalls trail on a big BMW bike...don't know enough about them to tell you the model, but he had lots if gear strapped to it, and his helmet was cable locked to his bike. He told me the helmet cost about $400, and the guys with him laughed and teased him about how much his riding clothes, gloves and boots cost. They were from Australia, came over a few weeks ago to tour with him, and were riding big Harleys. I asked them where they were heading...New Orleans, but had no plans on where they were spending the night on the way. Sounded like adventure.

Wag, I spent about a half hour "driving" around Tasmania last night on Google maps. Beautiful place. I even found a couple of mountains to hike, like Mt Ossa. Sorry about the flooding.

BEF, hope you get your new Mazda today.
