Good morning, the low this morning was 48 and the high will be 60°F. Sunny.

A dump run and town for gas is in the cards as well as cutting the grass.

I am off until Sunday or Monday as the weather is against us for the tar and chip jobs. The temperature must be 50°F or better to lay the tar and have it actually do its' thing.

59F blue sky wind 15+ steady.

This morning early while eating my E muffin heard noise outside turn on big flood light one sibling cub try to lay on blanket and the other sibling cub wanted the blanket when I left for work at 4:30am cubs and blanket both gone.

Short day at work,when I got home decided to mow the side field soon afterwards return to house for heavy sweatshirt,shaded area with wind gusting was tad nippy.
Not much plan for this evening might watch KC vs LAC with wife,she a BIG KC fan even has her KC jersey and couch with munchies...oof limits.

Was waiting all day for the propane company to come change the tank only to get a call asking if the tank was empty otherwise they could not change it. 60 percent full. I pointed out to bring a propane truck to pump it out and put it back into the new tank. Oh he said then it had to be rescheduled. Yes that was the idea to begin with!!

Then went to town to pick up a prescription and then the van went into Limp Home Mode. Was able to reset it by turning engine off and restarting. Did not see any code set on the onboard Scan gauge. So there is some emerging issue that does not set the code but triggers the LHM. Will have to set up the more sophisticated scanner to check for history.

Ahh, today is my Friday and I get off for a 4 day weekend. Got in 6 hours of seat time, made a lot of city folks happy. On the way back from the activities center by the river there were a lot of sleepy passengers that I purposely keep awake telling them all sorts of farm things on the ride back up the hill. Still hard to believe I get paid to drive a tractor. The other tractor was busy hauling planters who were planting strawberries. It took then all day to plant one row and they have 19 more rows to plant. Also had enough time to set out pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. I put out 3 boxes 4'X4'X4' and they still had 40 boxes to go after my shift ended. The pumpkins were grown in Floydada Tx. Here is what the boxes looked like:

Good (Friday) morning. Still a bit of a 'warm' spell as the overnight Low was 10.6C but, boy, did it pour rain last night = 24.6mm in the gauge @ 0900 and it's still raining. Presently 13.1C.

Received a call from my Brisbane Mate that his flight has been delayed by an hour... however I think that I heard on the local radio news (as I was waking up this AM) that there is/was a landslide just west of Fingal. So I'll leave at my scheduled time in case there are any delays.
