Good luck on your new tractor job.

The train has a vegetarian option...not to your standards. (You have to pick from a drop down menu when purchasing tickets).

Here is Wong's

WONG'S TACOS
Wow, that's a lot of cheese. Certainly different though.

Did they have names for the "interesting" new menu items? Any vegan options? I also looked for the train's menu but could not find it. Looks like a fine train ride especially during a colorful Fall.

.

Start to order a ticket, and they present menu options. You can back out.

I order chicken sandwich with potato salad, and chocolate cake.
They did offer a veggie burger.

After the discussion about PEX earlier, I forgot to mention that I used PEX A for the airline that I ran on Monday.

My mechanical contractor buddy bought a used Woodmizer LT40 sawmill, I am going with him to pick it up, but not sure which day, so that could be an option for today as well.

I need to run a new water line for a front hose bib. Maybe I’ll give PEX a try. I also need air distribution in my garage, never even thought of using PEX

And woodmizers are cool. If I could persuade my wife to retire to the farm, I would get one. Lots of wood available there.

70°F and thunderstorms again this morning, going up to 84° today. Been flashing and rumbling since the wee small hours of the morning. Looks like the rain will be with us off and on through tomorrow.

"Historic" rains yesterday, or so the media is calling it. Some say it broke a record from 1915, and others are using the phrase "1000 year event." I saw a chart that said some areas got as much as 11.03 inches yesterday. The town nearest us on the list (Aviston IL) said 1.46". We didn't get the onslaught that many got, but we did get enough to raise the pond level back up to the rip rap rock around the shoreline. No more dirt showing. On of our welders at work this morning showed me a picture he took of his TV showing the scene of the one death of someone trapped in their car. As he watched the news, he saw his mother's car sitting in the water just about 100 feet away. She had been rescued, but lost her phone and couldn't call him, so he found out by seeing it on TV.

Insurance companies and cleaning/restoration businesses are going to be very busy for awhile.

wngsprd, there are a few similar places around the St. Louis area called Seoul Taco. They are all over in STL County, though, so I haven't tried them yet. Sounds interesting.

Good morning, gents.

Not exactly true. I never liked tomatoes. Once they're processed into some manner of sauce, I'm fine with them. Just not fresh. Not a fan of that seedy, snotty goo in the middle. 🤮
I do not like raw tomatoes on a salad but they are good to me sliced on a veggie burger or in sauces or pico-de-gallo.
Do you like baked or fried okra? After enough heat the "seedy snotty goo" dries up.
