Ken, I think a few of us here have at one time thought about building a home from wood we cut ourselves.

My dad built his house with wood milled on the farm. He still has a couple large stacks of lumber in a building, all kinds of sizes. Most are over 16’ long.
I bought from 84 lumber to build my house.

70°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 101° today.

I had the fortune to meet Lee at a Winter NAMM Show back in '03 when I still worked for Ampeg, Paul. He was a super nice guy. Is there anyone on the planet that he hasn't played with? And that beard is just epic. Mine was just scraggly by comparison.

Been a long time since anyone has talked about firing up the TBN Rescue Squad, Don.

Hope they get you all cleaned out and fixed up, Randy.

Good morning, gents.
wonderful picture PJ. Looking kinda bad ass there (y) but can't compete with the big hair guy.
Now I know what your eyes look like as you look down at the instrument in your avatar.
I'm going to guess. Acoustic bass guitar? how far off....

Need to inspect problem area on my back between my shoulder blades.
Mirrors haven't worked, need to look in close. Cheaper ones than this don't have good ratings.

Interesting usage. I can’t even see the side of my face in a mirror, because I need to use my bifocals, which is straight ahead.

I think a few people on here has mentioned having one. I needed one the other day, but don’t have one.

I've had two skin melanomas already, a real petri dish. Need to know when to get in earlier to dermatologist than every six months.
I have scars back there and they itch so I have no idea what is going on. I keep using the back scratcher on it and have been thinking maybe I ought to
look at what I'm scratching...

66°F and .51 inches rain.

Thoughts are to do some maintenance on the catchment system, clean the four 1st flush and the two pre tank filters. May have to be content with inside stuff.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I only have one cello, for now. I keep threatening to get an electric one.
I have two walls with guitars, and one with basses, in my studio. There are also several violins and violas hanging on the wall next to the piano upstairs.

With bigger strings like a bass or a cello, you can definitely feel the vibrations. This is true with acoustic guitars and violins as well.
But for me, even with electronic instruments, I feel it in my soul. Always have.

84F and partly cloudy @ 12:30, DP 68F, HI 90F. Heading up to a high of around 88F for the day.

It seems like it might be a little muggy out there, so I'll be headed up shortly to move the Kubota out, turn on the AC in the shop, and see if I can locate the manual for the King Kutter tiller.

After that I'll make the rounds and see what needs watered, fill hopper feeder, etc. Bag on Japanese Beetle trap is starting to look full already so I'll scope that out too.

Managed to locate another (missing) hand pump for a sprayer yesterday, was on the shelf at the back of the garage.

WU now calling for a 50% chance of thunderstorms in the morning tomorrow, so mowing probably on the agenda for later today, likely this evening. Had Woman get another 3 gallons of gas while she was out yesterday.

Hope everyone has a great Friday ... (y)

Drew can you use a selfie stick backwards? Just take a bunch of pics of your back, one will be in the right place and in focus. Then you will also be able to see if it changes color or size over time.

Good Morning,

None of us know coffee better than Wngsprd. If he could chime in here and suggest what he would buy if he wasn't grinding his own, lot of us might switch around.
Hard to justify 12 dollar a pound coffee when wholesale is under 3 bucks. What a markup, but you have transportation and roasting costs too.
I have the next best thing to a personal Wngsprd :) ... for the past 3 yrs, I have been TRADING 3 dozen eggs ($5.50 doz, $16.50 trade) for a bag of freshly baked blended ground coffee beans from my long time friend Steve. He's the Executive Director of the local Bible College about 5 min away. I get a new bag of REVEREND COFFEE every couple of weeks, any of 5 -6 different blends. I fill a reusable pod and the Keurig does the work. (side note... My daughter and son in law met at that Bible College, and The Reverend Coffee officiated at their wedding ❤️ ). He's a busy guy, but we meet at car shows also.

Good morning to all! Low of 60°, going up to 93° today. Slight chance of a T-storm. Maybe today will be our 'chance' for some. Yesterday there were a few forming, one got close and teased us with a few rumbles.... that's it.

Randy, hope you get better soon. Keep moving forward.... you can overcome this. Prayers sent.

Buppies, hope you can get the cramping to subside. Try ALL fixes... one will work.

Kyle, prayers sent for your mom. Hope she recovers quickly.

This morning was an early start, had to get Max to the groomer as he had the first appointment. On the way back, there was a 'multi-family yard sale' at a big recently built pole barn. I just had to stop.....

Turns out, I was able to make a good score.... a Grizzly brand 3 HP twin bag dust collector. Guy was asking $75 ..... done, no haggling required at that price. I quickly looked it up on line, used ones selling for close to $500. A new similar one is around $1300.
A couple guys even loaded it for me. Now I just have to find a bigger spot in the shop and run another 220v circuit.

Car detailing took a while yesterday, only got the interior of the car done. Need to do the outside wash / wax, then get started on the truck. I think I'm running out of time.... supposed to leave for Colorado tomorrow.....

So, I better get a move on. Everyone have a great day!
Now, I just have to get it out of the truck..... tractor might come in handy...

Dang, that's quite the price for a dozen eggs.
I see them for $3.50 a dozen around here.
About had a cow when I saw $4.29 for jumbos today in the store.
