Good Morning!!!! 74F @ 5:15AM. Partly cloudy skies. High around 100F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
Temps might drop into the low 90s by next weekend, but this week and weekend will be unseasonably warm (100F+).
I've seen drawings of those special bolts, Ted, but that's the first time I've seen a photo. Someone has too much time on their hands...
Glad you figured out the right therapy for the nightmare tree, Rich. That would work out here, too, but only in wet weather, if we ever get any again...
That's a good summary, Drew. But how come it's OK for the waitress to say "hun" and "sugar," but a man can't say "darlin'" back? I dated a gal a long time ago that dressed like a man, cut her hair like a man, and walked like a man. I remember the time a clerk called her mister, and how she complained. Boy did I get in trouble when I pointed out how her appearance made it difficult for others to correctly identify her gender...
I noticed yesterday that the light on the well pump controller finally turned green, signalling that the tank on top of the hill was full. Just in time for the 4th of July, and all the idiots that insist on playing with fireworks in the middle of a drought.
It was more than warm in the garage yesterday, but I still managed to get a new pair of shoes on the big touring bike. The tire tools were right in front of the back sliding door, so there was s strong breeze to carry away the sweat. The rear tire only took half an ounce to balance, the front didn't take any. Another reason I like Michelin tires. Today I'll drain the gas out of it and transfer it to the red bike, and get that ready for a trip south. Meeting friends at a little lodge outside Kernville, probably play in the river a bit to stay cool.
Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
