it's been interesting to see the major car and truck builders compete with their sound systems, infotainment as they call it today.
Harmon Kardon, B&O, Sony, MacIntosh, Bose of course. I know there is one other name that escapes me.
Bose never had enough high end for me, which probably was the way they wanted it.
My optional B&O sound system in the Volvo is frankly remarkable. Too bad my hearing is screwed up and I can't turn it up very much.

And now the next step is coming; Honda and Sony are building a car together. Smart, let Honda build the cars which they are very good at and let Sony
build the electronics. New EV coming out in a few years:

I'm thinking about getting a watch that tracks my BP. I've had lots of Omicrons like most of us, but wonder short of that big manual cuff what is
more reliable. I don't need a "smart" watch, no phone in it or Burger King apps...

You've lost me with your fancy words mate. LOL. I'm just going to have a Drambuie, straight, no ice or water or any other contaminents. Oh. I will use a glass.

I've got a bottle of Drambuie 'on the go' too and enjoy it straight.

The "Vinturi" is a wine aerator, using the venturi effect to automatically decant the wine straight out of the bottle into the glass. I highly recommend it to anyone... it won't 'save' a $5 clean-skin, but it will enhance any other bottle.

Oh, and I didn't realise that "plonk" was a fancy word.

67° right now...high in the upper 70's and a probability of T-storms

Had a follow-up appointment with my primary care doc yesterday....BP is back to normal, gained about 8-9 lbs. (which I needed), heart and lungs sound good. But, I have a pretty bad cold....lot of coughing and congestion. Reckon I'll pop out and get some kind of cough medication this morning

Roy, let's keep you and Toppop out of the hospital please. Glad you are doing better, watch that cold. It could be anything today.

Wow Rich, sorry you got so beat up. About ten of us would like to descend on your place with grapples ready to clean up that mess.
Hopefully some will be good firewood.

69 outside this AM. Heading to mid 90's.

Managed to mow some grass again yesterday. Around the house was cut prior, just two days ago. Attempted the walk of shame with the weed whacker, gave it up, due to the humidity.

Rich, I hope you manage well. I am still battling our insurance company from the March storm we had. Had to do a affidavit for the claims. They are throwing us hoops.

More grass work on tap today, maybe a run to HD, need some concrete....

Drambuie....LOVE the stuff. But it is a winter time drink for me, so I can claim Alien's and Wagtail's season and get right on it!

Just a quick message

We survived the storm this week. But my property got hit hard, upwards of 20 trees down. Some damage to the house, a portion of the ridge vent got torn off the barn. I “patched” it back on today

Power went out 12:30 AM Tuesday morning. No landline, no cell, no internet. I have the generators working overtime to keep the place functioning partially.

I find myself in the hospital with pneumonia, in the observation unit, hope I can go home tomorrow.

How's the ticker doing?

Doctor said 26% heart doing well considering with ICD and new pills,but I seem to tired easier etc....maybe age age has something to do with it.
