I definitely use less fuel per acre to mow with the tractor and a 16’ pull behind PTO mower than I do with the 60” Exmark Lazer. If I miss a mowing and the grass gets high, the tractor uses more fuel to mow. It has enough power not to bog down in higher grass, so it doesn’t take any longer. And the tractor does that while running the air conditioning!

WB repair successful ... (y)

Four blueberry bushes watered and fertilized, three rhubarb plants and eighteen asparagus plants watered.

All plants in back in pots watered.

Took WB around front watered all the dahlias, caladiums, a couple of flower pots Woman finished up planting and the last two rows of squash and pumpkins.

Was kind of surprised that we didn't have more droopers than we did today ... despite me not watering most of the plants all day until late this evening.

Trying to generate some interest on running down to the local creamery for a treat.

The question is tongue weight. I think spec is max 375. 1000 pound golf cart, heavy part is over rear axle, and I'm about to put the rear axle at the very front of a single axle
trailer. Volvo not self leveling. If it sags, need to go to plan B, big aluminum ramps. This is what you usually don't worry about when you have a truck.
I often worry about tongue weight. But then I also usually load my trailer down.

You must be reading long range forecasts
Actually past years aftcasts.
Only 97˚F today + dust from Africa. The coolest day in the 10 day forecast. We are still in the never ending heat wave.
Next week Summer starts, can't wait.

Good early arvo. Very mild night with a low of only 8.4C, due to it being calm and overcast. Received 3.5mm of rain overnight. The high should reach 14C.

For me, mowing is pretty much over until the Spring due to my "State Forest Lawn Service" = Possums, Pademelons and Wallabies come in every night. :)

Take care all.

My brother in north central Ohio said there were 3 confirmed tornadoes Monday in his county.

Just did a WiFi call across starlink that worked ok. Starlink router is in garage for now, so weaker signal in room at far end of house, sometimes WiFi switches to the stronger signal on other mobley router.
Trying to understand this rotating view, says partially obstructed, so I moved dishy back out into yard, should have no obstruction now., but yet it complains.

I received my SL mesh router and placed in the tractor shed. While it does connect, reports Poor node signal. Move mesh node closer to main router or another node. Was hoping it would be stronger.

My guess would be if you elevate the dish (maybe on roof) you could clear the obstructions. The red areas are the obstructions.

Currently San Leandro California… birthplace of Caterpillar Tractor and home to lots of Industry that no longer exists here like Western Electric, Kellogg’s, Crown Zellerbach, Simpson Strong Tie, Kraft, etc…

County areas in WA where friends really hard hit is the Key peninsula… I’ve had issues outside Olympia… rural often means isolated and the crooks know this.
Just a sign of the times...

Not enough rental cars because brazen smash and grabs take vehicles out of service.
