Don---"In Costa Maya we took multi part shore excursion, making a Salsa (dip), learning the Salsa (dance), tequila tasting and Beach excursion." ----
Sounds like you were really giving the new knee a run for the money! (y)
Wow! Your knee looks great!
Mine still gets twice the size of the good one. I will be interrogating my doc on Thursday.....

Gale, there is one of the old ones out here in Albuquerque. Two tiny windows, one to order, next to get the goodies. There are plenty of new ones, but the one has withstood the test of time. They even play songs from the 50's and 60's on outside speakers.
Are you going to get the boyfriend to help you?
That was always a good way to scope out potential suitors for my daughter.
Not a chance!..... he's an absolute idiot. She's 36, a nurse practitioner. He is her "boy toy". She's too old for me to match-make for her.... I have tried in the past. All I can say is she is the one to normally make any decisions.

I think Murray Kentucky has one of the last dairy Queens with no restrooms no inside seating. I'm 71 and it's the same block building all of my life.

Neither do ours in Hilo and Waimea. Likely because they are in mall/food court.

It wasn't a DQ Gale but a local shop in Washington NC, been there simply forever, looked just like it did in late 40's. stark white concrete block building with several large walk ups. Big menus on the walls. You milled around outside until your number was called. They made really good soft serve ice cream. Nothing better on a hot day as it melts almost as fast as you can eat it.
Of course, you had to be a pig and order a double first....
Order a triple cone on a hot day, well good luck. The ants will love you.

Roy, they may technically have enough but get too much tilt on those floating cities and I wonder how well the davits will work.
Can't ask grandmom to shinny down those hawser lines...
I gave my next older brother a SPOT satellite receiver, basically a portable epirb, for his sailing in the BVI's.
I'd borrow it back for any cruise I took.
Plus I cruise with a handheld VHF. Fun to listen in to captain talking to ports.

Will the maps on an Iphone 12 show where you are in the islands? I used to travel with a portable garmin but maybe with this watch
that's now obsolete.

I know of 1 in PA like that, still has outside walk up window. Although I haven’t been by it in awhile, might not be open any more.

From street view, looks like it has a drive thru.

there have been some interesting stories popping up about Russians and the megayachts.
More than ten days ago Putin yanked his megayacht out of a German refit yard and had it brought back to Russia half finished.
I just read today a Ukrainian engineer on a Russian oligarch's super yacht, whose company makes weapons for the Russian military, went
nuts when he saw the planes and helicopters shooting rockets at civilians in Kiev and he went and tried to scuttle his owner's boat.
First he opened the main sea valves, but he could only get to one, and he shut down the fuel so the generators would not run and keep the bilge pumps
running. So the boat was halfway sunk and heavily damaged.
The man was a patriot who simply had too much.

had a good trip to Costco, got my membership card and an audiology appt for my ears.

Wonder if there's enough lifeboats for the passengers and crew?

Don’t know, but they look small from 10 decks up. They were having practice drills. They each hold about 150 we have tendered in them on another cruise.

One of my buddies is moving to Plano tx this week. He was my backup for streaming our worship services, so now I get to train a new one.
I graduated from High School in Plano in 1958. 58 of us graduated in 1958. Back then there were only two schools; grades 1 to 6 at the "grade school" and 7 to 12 at the "high school". And during my last year in high school, the postmaster had to get permission from the USPS regional office to give me a temporary appointment as a mail carrier before I was 18 years old because he was short handed. "Normally" three carriers delivered all the mail walking door to door, and another guy delivered the parcel post in the one and only vehicle the post office had; a leased 1948 Jeep panel wagon with no driver's door and no muffler, but there came a day when two of us had to do it all, and we got'er done.

Plano had only a volunteer fire department, one fire truck, and the town had one town marshall and one night watchman.

My Dad & I opened the first auto parts store in Plano, and we had a Mobil Oil service station, AND we were the bus station for Greyhound AND Continental Trailways.

And I now live in Corinth, a town that didn't even exist back then. Everything has sure changed around here in the last 65 years.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
