Change in plans...snow blower is at a local store, but not assembled...
Since I paid for assembly, I expect it assembled. Good news is, if the store gets it assembled today, they said they'd deliver it.
Roads are really nasty right now...guess I'm not too upset.
I'll use the single-stage blower for the sidewalks in a bit....as long as I hit it soon (4-6 inches, and we're almost there), the little blower will be fine...
And, no doubt I'll have plenty of places to use the bigger blower later today or tomorrow

Update: Latest forecast is for 5", down from 9"...

The space ghost series with the herculoids were some of my favorites or perhaps Mighty Mouse.

I remember Johnny Quest and Space Ghost, but my favorites were Road Runner, Yosemite Sam and Ralph and George (sheep dog and coyote).

when tv's first came in my grandfather got the first one and we little kids would go up to his home in the late 50's and watch Walt Disney at 6pm, I think, on Sunday night.
One show a week. Can you imagine that now?
I remember Roadrunner and Yosemite Sam. Sorry, never knew the Herculoids.

Mickey Mouse must have been quite different than Mighty Mouse.

It appears, based on the extensive research posted previously, it’s just my imagination that I’m paying near double for fuel, than I was in January 2021. I’m sure there will be a detailed explanation for why I’m imagining that.

Good morning! 30 now, been about that temp since 4:00 AM when I got up to add wood the the fire. Might go up a few degrees today.

Only got rain from the storm yesterday. The ice/slush/snow stayed north.

Burning up one of my remains vacation days. Had another meeting with our financial advisor last evening. We have done well preparing for retirement.

Not sure what mischief I will find today. But I will find something.

Everyone stay safe out there!

Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 5:45AM. Sunny. High 63F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
March looks like it'll come in like a lamb, with partly cloudy skies and a high in the low 70s. Rain is back in the 10-day for Wednesday, almost a half inch now, lasting into Thursday morning. And highs will be in the low 70s for the weekend, with lots of sun.

Hope the vet can do some good for Emily, Paul.

Getting old has its challenges, Buppies, but it beats the alternative...

You sound well prepared to ride out the storm, Doug. Hope it doesn't last too much longer, though.

The young lady with the gold panner was a real sport on the hike, not even complaining when she lost a boot in the mud. I was surprised at her wardrobe choice, but it seemed to work just fine for her.

Those later Hanna Barbara cartoons were real game changers, adding a good deal of realism that I really liked. Sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

The brutality in the Ukraine reminds us that the veneer of civilization is very thin. And that diplomacy and kind thoughts only go so far towards keeping the peace. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the UN can do to put a stop to it.

It's not your imagination, Randy. I'm stuck in the same boat, too, and I don't believe for a minute that it's got much to do with alligators.

I was surprised to find the "Toasted" version of Basil Hayden Bourbon at Costco yesterday, especially after seeing it for the first time ever at the liquor store in Lompoc last weekend. I also found some of Firestone Brewery's Merlin Nitro Milk Stout at Bevmo when I stopped by to stock up on Shiner Bock. I even found and used a 10% off coupon in the email queue on my phone. But the biggest surprise were the fresh ears of corn on the cob at Winco, still packed on ice. It was delicious with some BBQ chicken from the grill last night.🤤

The neighbor with the big backhoe says he'll be bringing a bulldozer down next week to start clearing the fire break around the property. That means I need to get busy finding and marking the survey stakes that were put in place in '19 so he can get the lines right. Also need to look up the ordinance again so see how wide to make it as well.

TGIF gang! 🍻

31F and freezing rain. The power was out when I woke up. I was afraid it was the beginning of the cyber war. Wouldn't that be horrible? Fortunately it was just an ice storm. Kind of pretty.Power came back on around 9.

I'm feeling very sorry for the Ukrainians. Looks like they also believe in living free or dying.

Stay warm and dry.

Chris
