65°F and .03 inches rain.

Off to eye doc to get measurements for cataracts. Thanks for all the comments and encouragement. I’ve actually put this off for a couple years while Sophie was going thru her ordeal. Now that she seems about done, my turn.

Have to make a HD run while in town, take Sophie for lunch.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Are you still having a hard time finding ammo for this gun? I've looked a few times when in Green Top and online, but didn't see any, and haven't thought about it in a while.
I found three boxes in Bonner's Ferry Idaho this past September on vacation. Other than that none. Tried every gun store I saw in Northern Idaho and Western Montana.

I do reload but haven't in a few years. Need to set everything back up. Just moved so everything is packed away somewhere.

Hornett what brand of 22 hornet do you have? Ruger m77 here Nikon scope
I have the Ruger M77 varmint . It the laminated stock version with the heavy barrel. I usually have an older Simmons on it but I just put that on a 22-250. I think I have a redfield on it now. I like nikons but haven't seen many lately.

sister just emailed and said it was 34 degrees on the CA coast, that's really cold for their little protected area.

Good afternoon! 30° now, supposed to get to 35° later. Supposed to get something this evening, but so far, not sure whether it is ice, ice & snow, or just snow. Hopefully doesn't interfere with our meeting with our financial advisor.

Just saw a ranking today that the county I live in is ranked 8th best in the state for quality of life in the state. Kind of surprised me. Maybe that is why housing prices are getting stupid for this area and properties are on the market under 4 hours.....

Yes @mostly_gas, I find humor in those calls. It astounds me that someone would call an OEM about something that old and have no information or tools to service it. There have been some memorable ones over the years. Only one today was someone bought two old machines at an auction and called and asked if I could send him the titles. 😲 Good luck with that.

I have 1 Nikon scope @Buppies. I really like it. Shame they left the market. The optics are exceptionally clear.

On the whole discussion of oil imports/exports/pipelines/dependency, etc., one thing that is not discussed or maybe not understood is type of product. There are different grades of oil and different capabilities of refineries. I don't believe the US produces all of the light sweet crude required for our country to function on. We used to produce a lot of "intermediate crude", but that production has tailed off. But we do produce an excess of heavy crude. And boatloads of natural gas and distillates. And we have a lot of refineries that work best on "intermediate crude" . So yes, it can be claimed we are net "exporter" in recent times, but we were exporting more of the heavy crude, NG, and distillates than we were importing light sweet crude and intermediate grades of crude. That is a bit simplified, but it is a dynamic of the domestic oil market that has been going on for a long time.

Everyone stay safe out there!

Agreed Rich their clarity is great and pricing not that bad for what’s out there. The last 2 I got watched them for over a year price started out at $1200 went down to $599 starting going fast four left I bought two. Very pleased with this purchase which was about one year ago maybe year and half

Our temps here are finally dropping into the "seasonal" range, at least according to the weather lady on TV last night. I've been spoiled by 70s and 60s for highs and 50s and 40s for lows up 'till now this year. Got home Monday just in time to be greeted by this latest cold front, which I saw as a dark band of clouds as I came through Marysville, about an hour south of here. Skies were gray and threatening when I finally rolled up the driveway, and there was a definite nip in the air.

Not camping out here, or anytime in the near future, Drew. Though folks that spent last weekend in Death Valley report good weather, until a haboob blew through coating everything with a layer of dust. I think I got a much better deal in Lompoc last weekend...

Busy day, but I did have time to pump some fuel in to the Deere. 5 gallons took it to ~3/4's so I'll keep the other 5 gallons in the garage.
The prediction is still right around 10"
Pretty much done for the day, I reckon...

Busy day, but

Was there supposed to be a picture or cartoon?
Jonny Quest, also known as The Adventures of Jonny Quest, is the original American science fiction/adventure animated television series that started the franchise. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for Screen Gems. It was created and designed by comic-book artist Doug Wildey. Inspired by radio serials and comics in the action-adventure genre, including Doc Savage, Tom Swift, The Adventures of Tintin and Jack Armstrong, the All-American Boy, the series featured more realistic art, characters, and stories than Hanna-Barbera's previous cartoon programs.

does that help? I admit it went over my head. The buzzer goes off and I lost that round. ;)

Toppop, first Spring flowers. (y)
