Low of 20 this morning, 61 later and 18 tonight. Yesterday morning it was 67, 12 hours later it was 36.
Slept in a bit this morning and haven’t done much since.
I watched a documentary about the Dismal Swamp maroons. Very interesting, I grew up in the edge of the swamp and heard many stories about them.
I think I’m going to eat a hot dog and find something to do.

Morning, 37 with light snow.
Got some time in the woods brushcutting and date night with the wife.
The back area is cleaning up nice, still some large Ash that hasn't fallen..yet. May have to convince them with some saw time.

Rain later, more snow, warming up and cooling down. hmmmm.

stay safe and be well,

Still a lot to clean up, but most of the bushes, vines and thorny stuff is cut at the base waiting for clean out once the ground hardens a bit.

20°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 35° today. Around 60° predicted for tomorrow through Tuesday. That should take care of the ice stubbornly remaining on the north side of the deck, where it's shaded by the sunroom (looks ironic when typed).

Eric, I saw a picture on Facebook this morning posted by a guy in Edinburgh of his backyard under blue skies with puffy little white clouds. Apparently, Scotland isn't suffering from your storm.

6 straight hours of zoom meetings, think my brains if any are dribbling out my ears

I was on a zoom of mostly Eastern folks and apparently the snow squalls were going through as one poor guy who sure wished he had
muted his microphone let out with a loud Holy Crap Look At The Snow! Which made about 70 people smile

nothing here, just some wind gusts and flurries.

might be time to curl up with a good book.

glad to see you are warming up tomorrow PJ. Hope it comes this way.

just about all the snow has melted here. Probably a few piles in the supermarket parking lots.
I'm sure another batch is headed our way.

I'm having fun.....not. both bucket curl cylinders' rams are bent. Not sure how. There's a back story that involves my wife's uncle borrowing tractor. Leaks like a sieve and seals are toast. 20 years old. BUNA N rubber has a 15 year shelf life, I found out.

Eric, they showed on national news the hurricane level storm winds hitting the island. Hope you guys stay safe my friend. I'm sure your dwelling has seen them before. If I got 70mph from the NW direction, I would be clearing the family out to a safer shelter.

RichB1, I found a good read on the state of flat track. with more to come.

It is a beautiful day here. Was 32F this am, but now at 64F and light winds. Great day for hydraulic cylinder repairs....:( Not my favorite thing.
