We’ve had so much freezing rain and sleet with the snow that our prediction is now 1”-3” vs 6”-10” earlier. Very low visibility, low tonight 15°.

Snow about to end here...9+ inches last time I went out and measured.
Power went out about 4 hours ago...the co-op says restore time est. is 3.15pm. Sure is pretty, but can already see tree limbs on ground.

Looks like about 2” of snow, ice and freezing rain Niebuhr coming down hard and wind blown, I can’t see the woods a hundred yards away. Temp is 32. Went to the store earlier and roads were covered with slushy ice. I have the tractor backed into the garage nearest the house, finally got the deck off yesterday with the help of my son in law and father in law. It didn’t drop off as easy as usual.
Had my kids and grandkids most of the weekend. Opened gifts Friday night and had tacos/burritos and nachos. My daughter in law and youngest grandson had Covid a couple of weeks ago they were out of quarantine for about about a week. Both had very mild symptoms, my oldest grandson had it a couple of months ago. DIL was vaccinated, grandson wasn’t. About the same level of symptoms according to her.
Santa brought my wife an Apple Watch, a new multi unit desk and chair. I got a nice headlamp for Christmas, sweatshirt and a bunch of small stuff.
I like walking around in the daytime with the headlamp on like Diogenes searching for an honest man.

DHMC about 5-6 miles from us,when Dart in hurry flies over us you would swear blow shingles off the roof.

15F cloudy now low single numbers over night for temp.
9 1/2 hours at pt. job boss said things should slow down little until Easter...whew.
Not plan for the evening other than dinner bell and feet up.

well I got pretty lucky. Storm went right below me, huge signs on NJ major roads saying:

thank goodness that wasn't where I was going. Got there early, sat in cell phone lot for a while, no problem picking her up and back we came on 78
in clouds of salt dust. Car will sure go to car wash tomorrow.

Sophie said it all went smoothly. Guess we’ll learn more at followup on Wed.
Enjoyed a nice late breakfast back at hotel, otherwise somewhat weary day here in Honolulu. Too late to change flight back home and get refund on hotel and car rental so will just take an easy day, possibly treat Sophie to nice dinner out if she’s up for it.
Sure hope everyone else is having success and healing with their medical situations.

Here, just southeast of Salisbury we got right at 5”, mostly between noon and 4 PM. In town got 3”.
