Radar shows snow, but couldn’t tell looking out window. Maybe very light.

Back to bed.

I looked out the window at 4 am and it was nothing. There is a good dusting on everything now. Supposed to amount to 4 inches. The snow plows are going back and forth on the main (road 4 times so far) and the noise is unbelievable. I cant imagine what they are plowing. There is only a dusting of snow right now.
I guess you give a guy a hammer ……

34 outside this AM. Freezing drizzle slop with white like substance on ground. Supposedly we have reached the high for today. 5 to 10 inches of snow are possible.

Last night at 11:00PM I blanketed a few horses and the temp was in the 50's. A nice wind was picking up, and well, a storm is upon us.

Had a lot of fun the last few days. A nice fresh start to the New Year.

Good Morning.
It’s 29 with some of that invisible snow outside. High of only 30 today, snow supposed to become visible and end by noon.

Yesterday was another lazy day, did a little shop work, some time on the computer doing paperwork, but mostly just trying to get comfortable. Got a great nights sleep though, so can’t complain.

Today is up for grabs, might help on a geothermal repair with my mechanical contractor buddy, waiting to hear if today is the day. Other than that nothing planned, but something always crops up.

Good Morning! 18 F wind is calm. Up early because of rescheduling of my PT from 1pm to 8am, augg. The rest of the session are scheduled later, I'm not a morning person when it come to torture.

Drew hope there is notification of any delays or cancelations before you take off. I had a premonition one time that my friend and family flying into Houston from East Germany were not on the plane and called the airline to see if they were on it. They were not saved me a trip across town. He died in Germany of a heart attack while loading up the car for the airport. I found out later that day when we were able to reach his work (bag) cell phone. His wife said she sent a telegram - we got the telegram (in the mail) the next day. First and last telegram I ever received.

Popgadget, a vegan diet rich in greens with no sugar or caffein are healing for shingles. I know, it is not the diet you want to hear about the last week of December, but this is January.

Tomorrow is week 3 since surgery and this week I learn how to walk without limping in PT. I quit using the rolling walker a week ago and now I do not need the cane but it reminds me to walk heel/toe and not limp. I can drive If I abstain from pain killers but it's still too uncomfortable. At least I'm going 8 hours between pills instead of the prescribed 4 and also just half dosage. If it would not be for PT and sleep I could get off them. Soon.

Kyle, hope they diagnose your Mother and she is on the way toward healing.

9° right now...high in the upper teens today.
Back to work tomorrow (on-site for tomorrow, not sure about the rest of the week yet), so the dump run must be today. My shoulder/upper arm is much better except for the occasional twinge. After the dump run, I have a few work-related odds and ends I want done before actually returning on-site.
Wifey has an appointment in Lebanon, NH (Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital)...not too far from Thomas' place, I think.

Got the 5 bags loaded...got to the dump (transfer station) to find it was closed...bummer. Normally, I don't leave trash outside due to the bears, but I reckon they're all napping.
Turns out Stepdaughter does work tomorrow, so I'll work from home and make the run tomorrow

Oh I forgot, wife is changing her menu for the Instant Pot demonstration at the WFPB meeting. Instead of garlic mashed potatoes she will be making a chocolate cake. First one turned out with no improvements necessary.

Around noon yesterday I snipped the zip ties holding a tarp over the burn pile and lit it off, than sat off to the side in the side-by-side watching it grow. There was a nice breeze from the south that fanned the flames, and after a half hour, most of the light brush was ashes. Fired up the tractor and moved more brush onto the fire, then started bringing in downed trees and limbed them, throwing the limbs into the fire. That went on pretty much the rest of the day, and I was able to get through four trees. Still a lot to go, but it's a start. Rain is supposed to begin around noon, and before that the wind will pick up, so I'll go out again with the tractor and bank the coals one more time in hopes the embers won't be cast around. Things are still pretty wet, but after the recent Colorado fire, one can't be too cautious.

Other than that, it's an inside day, probably get caught up on some paperwork.
