Good Morning.
It’s 24 and going to get up to 45 with rain likely this evening.

Yesterday was spent mostly doing farm chores. View attachment 726141

And delivering breads that my wife baked.

Still fighting with the RAV4 throwing codes. Looks like a different coil pack this time. Fortunately it’s one that’s easy to get to. I bought a set of six of them from Amazon for $70, which is about what I paid for one at the auto parts store. I’ll likely change the all the front ones this morning. The rear ones require removing the intake manifold.

After that, I’ve got more deliveries to make.

Good to know, thanks. How many did you have removed? I have quite a few very close together.
The staple puller they used was considerably different from the one I use here on my desk.:ROFLMAO: So I's say it was a painless proceedure.

Good morning, best kind of mist today, clear enough to see trees and livestock while completely hiding from view everything further than neighbour's fields.

Our turkey arrived very fresh last night, I will dress it this afternoon. Is there a special food that those of you who already ate turkey at Thanksgiving have for Christmas ?

Can't leave the zipper knee pic in Erics and Mostly mind to haunt them every time they see a zipper
Much appreciated Don. I heard that a company in New Zealand make the best staple pullers. https://www.strainrite.co.nz/product/staple-puller/

Excellent news Bups !

Was 25 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's.

Managed to get all the plumbing parts needed, will attempt fixes this AM as soon as things get settled with the animals.
Even got some groceries and gas yesterday. All in all a success following the SO around.

Looked like business as usual yesterday in the stores and on the road. If you know what I mean.

Hope all have a great day, and are not stressing too much with Christmas upon us.

Just in case, Merry Christmas to the Good Morning Crew. Health, Happiness and Prosperity to you and your families in the New Year.

All the best. And be safe.

Good morning! 60˚F cloudy, south wind, heading to the mid 70s. Warm enough to wear shorts to the Dr. Looks like we are on track to our 2nd warmest Christmas Day ever - in the low 80s. The weather people on TV just love extremes and weather events. I'm trying to not overthink todays main event - the staple pull, but if the tool is big and red and from New Zealand I might walk/roll out.

Good morning! A frosty 16 right now but sunny. Supposed to get to 36 later. They lied about yesterday’s high. Never got above 31 at the house. Looks like a stretch of mild temperatures in the 10 day.

Our plans to go see family in MD for Christmas are cancelled. They all have been tested positive and are varying degrees of sick. So we will stay home and keep it low key. Gonna stop and see my dad and step-mom. Couldn’t even do that last year.

Snow blower is ready for winter! Started on the first pull. That shocked me. Maybe adding the fuel shut off was a good idea. Swapped the skid shoes around. Looks like this is the last good edge. Probably should get another set. Lots of choices for replacements.

All the summer equipment got a good run and had a chance to circulate fuel stabilizer thru the system. Then park for the winter. Used the tractor and hitch hauler to haul the trash to the road and move some wood. So far….the hitch hauler has been a good, cheap idea to move stuff.

@Kyle_in_Tex - yep, good to have another flat track fan on here. At least you know what I babble about! Going to FL the week of January 3 for the race Cory Texter is promoting. 3 days of racing. Some good money up for grabs

Hope everyone continues to heal

Everyone stay safe out there!

24 going to 45. Sunny. Walking around this morning was the first time this year I felt the ground a little frozen...usually it has only been frost on soft ground, or dry ground.

Hope all goes well with staples and stitches.

Eric, we are having what we like to call Shepherd's Pie, made with ground turkey...I think PJ corrected it once before and called it Cottage Pie, a more correct name. Sometimes we add in green chile sauce and corn and beans and call it Southwestern Shepherd's Pie. Then we're having Chicken Divan, my mother's recipe, when the next son/wife comes in a day later. No sheep for us...we'll let you keep them. ;)

Since the common cold is also a corona virus, a lot of folks are needlessly worried and even confusing their symptoms. For those confirmed as covid, a very small portion are tested to the level of determining which variant actually infected someone. Grocery shopping yesterday, did see masks making a comeback, and a lot of empty shelves.

I think "our" red-tailed hawk returned yesterday after many months away...flew to the same spot it used to hang out, and then over to the nest tree where it was "born." When it was first learning to fly, it landed in the bird bath in our front yard and just sat there while we walked around.
