40F and sunny @ 12:00, heading up to a high of around 45F for the day. The next three days will be sunny with highs in the 40's and 50's. 60F by Thursday ... but they are calling for rain. After that the temps drop, with highs only in the 30's and 40's.
Had howling winds, rain and thunder when the storm front came through, with gusts over 50 mph. High made it to 56F. Rained enough overnight that there was standing water in the low spots on the lawn.
Heard some trees cracking over in the woods, but didn't hear any hit the ground. Lots of sticks to pick up off the lawn though. Fortunately no big ones. Might run over the lawn in a couple of days to blow leaves off once it dries up a little.
Hopper, two sunflower tube, and two suet feeders refilled back on Friday. They're due for a refill today. Also about a gallon of whole corn scattered on the ground for the deer (that was all gone by the next morning)
Got white worm cultures fed.
Got another 50 or so daffodils planted Thursday, also replanted two of the recently planted irises which someone had pulled out of the ground ... may have to put up the electric fence if this keeps up ...

Probably more bulb planting tomorrow.
Woman brought down white feather hostas from Eden Brothers on Thursday, which were up in the mailbox, when she rolled in. They looked to be in good shape but no packing slip, is only 1/3 of the order, and that order doesn't show up on their website. Looks like it's time for another email. Planted those in one of the square containers in the old aquarium stand planter.
Watered banana tree which is putting out a new leaf at the top and hibiscus, one of her hibiscus just bloomed ... so grow lights seem to be working ...
More cleaning/decluttering/organizing done in the basement over the past several days. Almost to the point where I have enough room to lay out some wood and start applying finishes. First up will be some poly on sheets of 3/4 plywood for workbenches. That will be followed by Gloss Black Rust-oleum on some 2 x 4's for fish tank stands.
Got 1/4 inch collet and nut installed on router, along with the new 3/8ths bit and edge guide. May do some practice runs with that later today.
Holes drilled for dowels rods for perches and for L screws in roost box, dowel rods cut to length, seams all sealed up, front door installed. Still need to do a little sanding before I can stain it. Might do that here in a bit, since it should be easy to heat up the garage today with the torpedo heater. Already hauled belt and quarter-sheet sanders up from the basement, just need to bring the roost box up.
Need to take take up the recycle bin with the Cub and dump cart to the can at the road first though as it's full, along with some trash.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe Sunday ...
