Good Morning!!!! 78F @ 5:15AM. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 98F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.
TV weatherman last night predicted rain for next Tuesday, and sure enough WU is calling for it, too. A whole 0.06". Hardly enough to even settle the dust.
Even more new CV19 cases in the local hospital yesterday, to the point that they're having to repurpose other wards to handle them all.
At least you won't have to search high and low for your hammer next time you need to fix the fence, Eric. Hope you remember where you last saw it should you need it for something else, though.
I replaced the windows in the last house, Doug. It was more than a dozen, and I paid for installation on the first few, the largest ones. Watched what they did, and learned they weren't following the manufacturers directions. Did the rest myself, and FWIW, it wasn't that hard.
Good progress, David. Would never guess it was a shipping container just looking at it.
I think I would shop elsewhere for my meat, Kyle.
Would it do any good to lock the shed door to keep Boo out of there, Thomas? I'd sure hate to find him in there by surprise.
Been looking into a 4-in-1 bucket for the Kubota; I miss the one I had on the old one. Didn't think I would having a grapple, but there's some dirt work that's a lot easier with one. I like the Everything Attachments stuff, but they don't make one. Other brands they sell have long lead times, too. But they had a video of one that looked like it would fit and hold up on the big tractor, but when I called, Travis said it could be six months before it would come in.

So I gave the company that makes 'em a call, and got the name of a chain in California that carries 'em. Called the closest one, two hours away, and they had one sitting on the lot. Evidently it had been there a while because their price was 20% off MSRP. Went down there after lunch and picked it up, and am looking forward to trying it out today. It even had the same flat faced couplers that are already on the tractor. Probably should have bought a lottery ticket while I was out!
Contractor neighbor came by later to share a beer, and I finally got him to name a price for cutting the water tank terrace. So I got that paid off yesterday, too. Kind of an expensive day, but it's good to have that behind me.
FedEx tracking said they'd be delivering the repaired laptop yesterday, but they were a no-show. Now they have no delivery date. So much for being "
the fastest ship in the shipping business". Maybe the most confusing though.
Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!
