Good morning!!!!

Good (late) morning! 82˚F no wind but the promise of a cold front heading in late today with rain has my spirits up. Almost too much socializing yesterday with a 40 people playing HF cards and another 100 at our street's party. If the covid is still in our neighborhood I should be hearing reports soon enough. Finally met the newest neighbors that moved in during the covid year. All seem very nice from all over the U.S.

Happy Birthday Kyle and Happy Anniversary Phil.

I found another successful product from Amazon. A pillow with ear holes. No more smashed ears when I sleep on my side, I did not realize how much better it would feel. It comes in a soft and a standard softness, depending on what you are used to. I got the soft.

It is a PureComfort - Side Sleeping Pillow | Height Adjustable | Ear Pain Relief | CPAP Pillow | Wrinkle Prevention | TMJ | CertiPUR-US Memory Foam with Soft Bamboo Cover (Soft)

69 and cloudy, headed to 86. Feels good.

RS, nice looking squash/zukes/peppers. We've started harvesting them, too...gave a box full to my son and DIL to take home since so many seem to come at once. We talked yesterday about how the garden seems to be having its best year in memory.

Caught a mouse in my truck Saturday night...none caught last night. Still can't figure how it got in, but doing a thorough cleaning and investigation today. Was gonna do it yesterday, but decided the best approach was to do my wife's SUV first...she had commented the other day how dirty it had gotten.

My wife told me last week that her SUV was dirty, I said your arms aren’t broken, why don’t you clean it up. I guess I went to sleep, I don’t remember anything for a couple hours and woke with a terrible headache.

If you ask your wife she will just say that you need an ear pillow.

Well - I guess based on past news reports you could have been in much worse shape when you awake than a headache.

82 and humid, about an equal split of clouds and sun. It was cloudy until I went out to spray everything, then the sun came out bright. As soon as I finished the clouds moved back in and it felt nice and cool again.
Had a doctor make a house call at 8 this morning, insurance company doctor. She wasn’t here long. She asked the usual questions and gave three words to remember. They were river, signal and finger. She had a bit of an accent so when she said river, I thought she said window. So when asked me to repeat them that’s what I said. So she asked if I had memory problems, I said about what? LOL
I told her I had some hearing loss and I heard window. Not sure if I passed the exam.

I tore a flap on my arm Saturday unhooking one trailer. It keeps wanting to bleed, might have to get it cauterized.

Time to check my leftovers for lunch.

Happy birthday Kyle!

Morning all- sunny and not as hot today.
Very warm and humid this weekend. Went to SIL for her birthday Saturday and stores and Doylestown to take the kid to Siren Records so he can buy some vinyl.

Kyle -Happy birthday!
Drew - gold threaded plywood, it would seem so with those prices. Does that thistle have white multiple flower heads. If so, do not touch! Can cause a bad rash.
Roy - sorry to hear COPD - Can they do anything to help?
Phil - Happy Anniversary!
Randy - get that arm looked at before it gets worse

Went to Lowes to pick up a pedestal fan-seems someone there hated those fans and stacked them high and destroyed almost every single box, about 10 of them. Found one that was not so ripped up in the middle of the pile.

Spent Friday afternoon clearing brush around 3 >90 foot ash trees that my tree guy will bring over the cherry picker to get disassembled. Too close to the pool and other trees for me to take down without collateral damage.

Got my first tomatoes in and many more to come, no more horn worms so far, but keeping an eye out daily.

Stay safe and be well

Looks like the local rescue squad got a new toy. Good idea for the river since it gets quite rocky in places.

Hawk in the tree kept yelling at us for making too much noise at SIL party.

Nice car, Doug. It's amazing what they're doing with paint right from the factory now. We should start a pool on when you get your first speeding ticket; that arrest-me-red is sure to draw a lot of the wrong kind of attention!
Well we live on a quiet back road and not many kangaroos around in the daytime so I have given it a couple of 'bursts' but it is not the norm for me. Maybe years ago when I did some smalltime rallies but not now. It has a cruise control and I make a point of using it. I am more likely to get caught in the Ranger as it is so smooth and quiet the speed creeps up without realizing it so programming myself to use cruise in that too.

Doug, nice rides! and a new barn will be nice too. We have to get you on track to calling it a barn. hahaha A shed for us is a small storage unit, usually too small to park a car in. Make sure you pick the kit that handles the high wind loads. Here I believe the wind loads are rated at 90 or 110 miles per hour. The doors can also be a problem in the high winds.
We are not in a wind zone Kyle, however the barns have a cyclone rating well above what we will ever get. Never get snow here either. We do get big hail occasionally. I have had cars damaged from that in the past so I will be protecting these babies as best I can.
The pics are along the lines of what I am looking at. Not those colours of course but we will have a sliding door in the right hand side like the one shown.

Our standard cookie cutter homes here come with 16' wide garage doors. It is difficult to park 2 cars adjacent w/16' door. For my barn, I ordered an 18' x 8' tall door. It is wide enough to easily park my 2 cars, and my ROPS on my mid sized tractor fits underneath. I have a 10 x 10' tall door on the opposite end for the bigger tractor and to let the breeze blow through.

OK This barn is strictly for the cars. We hope to do a agricultural shed for the tractor and buggies and implements and my lads old Holden Ute. It is NOT going in my barn. LOL

That changes what I said earlier, so it will have interior walls, and not need 50 ft trusses

73F sun trying to peeking thru the clouds, got soaking from 2am little after 10am. :)

We started at day break removing broken porch roof looks like more damage than thought for this will be $$$$'s repair  but way much cheaper than hiring it...will hit hard again tomorrow morning.

Little to nothing plan for this evening but sure pillow time will come early.

Enjoy your evening all.

That is why I went with the extra width. I will be able to open car doors without hitting the walls or other cars. I will be able to get 2 cars in lengthwise. Anyway, photos in due time. And a hoist of course and if expenses haven't got out of control, a wheel balancer. I had one once and regret ever selling it.
Did I miss your birthday oops. Best regards mate.
