Good morning!!!!

Sorry about Missy's passing Randy, hope you are all doing ok.

nice dinner and swim in friend's pool, water was 89 degrees by the time I left, gone up 2 degrees during this very
hot afternoon.

came back to find more wilting flowers, did more watering, this hot weather really stresses out some plants. I'm watering the veggie garden every day.

little 2 ton a/c unit keeping this house nice and cool as long as I have a few fans moving the air. Sure felt good walking in the door.

My friends tonight with the coffee business says their business has picked back up in last two weeks about 10 percent. It had dropped in half over the last year.
They don't think it will ever be the same due to folks permanently working out of the their home and less conventional offices with break rooms and coffee service.

used my Makita string trimmer today for a little while. Never should have bought the smallest one, went for lightweight but line used is really wimpy. I made it as long as I could and then
cut if off squarely, which I find helps get a better cut, and it works, just feeble. Sure not my old echo but also no muss no fuss.

76° right now...high in the upper 80's....
Boy, I hate hot weather (anything above 80°)
I wonder how many of the new move in's here in Texas decide to leave after Halloween, when it's just starting to cool down? Maybe the prices for houses will come back down to reality.

Good morning, we finally had some very considerate rain, only falling after dark and almost done by breakfast time.

Most new things here are made with metric threads and have been for quite a while, so I was a bit stumped yesterday when I came to fit a plate on a water pump to find that an M8 bolt would only go for a single turn into a blind threaded hole before getting too tight to turn by hand. Tried again in another hole with another bolt and that was just the same. For those of you with much more experience of UNC, would appreciate your view on if that sounds likely to be a 5/16 UNC thread ?

Bird, look forward to seeing more pictures now you have got the hang of it.
I have thread profile gages to measure external threads. Glad the team helped you out.

That Beef ranching course looks like it would be a good one. Especially the Prime Rib dinner. Hope they serve y'all a 24 oz cut.

RNG, another use of scotch brite pads, when they lose their grit, you can stuff them into weep holes on the exterior of your home. Just be sure to wash out the steel or anything that can rust. They provide a great air filter, while bugs don't eat them. Just cut a piece and stuff it in the crack.

Billy, hope you're still improving. I hope I can be 10% of the guy you think I am. I've got plenty of faults.

Bupps, glad it came back negative, sorry about your hand. Prayers.

Prayers for our team....and our nation.
