buckeyefarmer said, "It’s easy to post from the TBN phone app, hit paper clip, select photo, hit done."

Thanks, I'll try it that way.

Sure enough quicker and easier and posted a much smaller version.

of course I could just stop being so cheap and for a little while buy the smaller packages of bottled water but the price is just silly.
Or maybe you could sweet talk your landlady into installing a reverse osmosis filter on the kitchen tap and free yourself from those cases of plastic bottles...

Good morning, we finally had some very considerate rain, only falling after dark and almost done by breakfast time.

Most new things here are made with metric threads and have been for quite a while, so I was a bit stumped yesterday when I came to fit a plate on a water pump to find that an M8 bolt would only go for a single turn into a blind threaded hole before getting too tight to turn by hand. Tried again in another hole with another bolt and that was just the same. For those of you with much more experience of UNC, would appreciate your view on if that sounds likely to be a 5/16 UNC thread ?

Bird, look forward to seeing more pictures now you have got the hang of it.

My sprayer with sevin leaked on my barn floor. Before going in house last night I took it outside pumped it up to spray the cabbage and beans, and the tank started squirting sevin from the bottom of the tank. Apparently several pin holes in the tank. I carried it to garden and sprayed everything good, as it was all gonna come out. That sprayer only a year old.

It’s likely 5/16 but could be UNC 18TPI or SAE24TPI

Bingo.

I've had one of these gizmos hanging by the workbench for years, and between the American and German vehicles, it gets a workout!

Good Morning.
It’s 75 and going past 95 with high humidity today.

Yesterday was uncomfortably hot outside, so I stayed mostly inside in the air conditioned shop.

Today will be another inside day after I get back from a quick trip to Newport News this morning.

I’ve got the Stihl version of that, I think it’s a GTA26. I would give it an A+ rating. I kept it in the tractor and then the Lazer until I got the perimeter branches whipped into shape. Outstanding battery life as well. The on;y slight negative is that the chain loop is so short it won’t fit on a sharpening machine, you have to hand file it.

I looked at the Stihl but it was 6” and she wanted the smallest lightest one we could get. Plus the Stihl + battery and charger extra was about triple the price. A lot for something that might not get used twice.
Biggest thing though was the size.
