good visit with surgeon, he was exactly on time. Amazing....
And agreed I should not be in so much pain and promptly gave me a cortisone shot
to my shoulder, which I really appreciated. I think he was surprised I wasn't better.
Guy has a 4.9 online rating for hundreds of patients and is the head of staff at local hospital, huge job.
Plus he does that and is pleasant and friendly. I think I found a good one, hope to not see him much more.
He did authorize PT on my other shoulder since it hurts now from all the overuse.

off to water flowers. Two of my largest plants need to be repotted; I absolutely soaked them two days ago and they
are already wilting. Can't be much real soil in that nursery plastic pot.

hot day, treated myself with a side trip to Dillys on the way back, little ice cream shop not far from home.
Small vanilla costs 3 bucks. I remember when it was a dollar. Maybe even .75 for a small.
Tasted mighty good on a 100 heat index day.

91, heat index 107. Very muggy out.
I ordered Ellen a little 4” cordless, one hand chainsaw she wanted for trimming limbs and suckers, we will see how much use it gets. Cute little devil though.
Finally got the new awning ordered, after a false start. Had banking to do for the car club, had to send pics of the El Camino to State Farm, Ellen had it with some no name company I didn’t trust.
One of our cats is sick, we thought it was a hair ball but treatment hasn’t cured it, so off to the vet with her.
Got my eye exam yesterday, they found an anomaly so I have to go sooner than planned to my retina specialist.
Not sure what else I’m doing today.

Review it for us after you use it. It may be something I can use it for FireWise if it is better than a sawzall.

just be careful of kickback with those little saws
gloves and goggles

Drew - kid loves Dilly's , Wife has been going there since she was a little one.
AC guy was here for the "tune-up" seems all is doing well with AC components.

Most plants in pots use some kind of peat moss to cut down on shipping weight. Takes enough water to last a day, maybe.
I move the plants into planters with real dirt, or they fall over pretty quick

Randy, hope the eye issue is not too bad.

This bench made from the same stock I took the 2 planks from is about 7 feet long:

Thank you guys for all the warm and kind words regarding my surgery and losing Coco. I'd be honored and delighted if any of you were my real next door neighbors.

Kyle, interesting concept of making diamonds...and with a heart like yours, I don't think you could ever say anything to offend me.

Randy, glad you got a chance to go to Hertford and get some good food. Did they build any kind of memorial to Catfish?

Don, sorry your success at H&F has bumped you into a higher tax bracket. Remember, you can deduct your losses, too. ;)

RNG, quite the trench you have there...aerial photo really shows how busy you've been.

The doctor says I can't hike for 6 weeks, but encourages me to walk a lot...so I've returned to just "walking" on the trails, not hiking. 🤫 My wife cut about half of the zero-turn acreage Saturday for the first time, and Sunday morning told me that when she went to bed she had a sensation much like after you've been out deep sea fishing all day...sort of a motion feeling...and the dust aggravated her sinuses...so it sounds like I haven't lost my zero to her permanently. Otherwise, I've caught up on some paperwork, enjoyed some John Wayne movies and Perry Mason and Yellowstone episodes, and probably put on a couple of pounds. Oh, and I watered the garden with a half gallon watering can to keep the weight down...must have made a thousands trips to refill it...more good walking.

Would love to meet for a hike sometime. I just can’t do a very hard trail right now.

Mowing on ZT is like a magic carpet ride.

My son been watching Yellowstone, so I saw a lot of them. Too much drama for me.

91F dark clouds moving in looks like another quick hitting t-storm like couple hours ago.
Been slow slow motion day  but just enough I think to earn my dinner. :)
No plans for the evening other staying cool feet up.

Enjoy your evening all.

It's sure been busy around here. Friday, we got the fence replaced at the front of the house. Now this past week, my wife and I both got new cell phones. This new phone makes better photos than my old cell phone did, and since I sold my real camera some time ago, the cell phone is now the only camera I own. So today, I finally figured out how to get photos from this new cell phone into this computer. So I'll see if I can put a couple of pictures of our new fence here.

good job Bird and nice looking fence.

thermometer needs adjustment. That's the heat index, real temp is 92
but no matter what when the little hand gets to 100 it's time for me to go in.
After I spent an hour watering plants and garden, that was plenty.

Sunflower seeds dropped by birds from local feeder are blooming away
