Change of plans today...think I'm going to aerate the lawn today...according to what I just read, this is a good time of year to aerate in Vermont.
Time permits, I'll put the mirrors on later

39-66 today, looks like one cool day this week then spring takes hold.

God bless my nurses, they left me alone and I slept seven hours! One told me she checked on me a couple times but she didn’t bother me.

Our cruise in turned out to be the largest one ever, about 300 cars. Raised a bunch of money and goods for the Humane Society.
Next month is for Operation We Care.

Looking forward to another day of walking the halls and chatting with whomever.
No word on whether I go home today or tomorrow. Fingers crossed we can get approval for home health nurse today, but I’m not optimistic.

Have a good day all.

Update; not going home until tomorrow, can’t get insurance approval for home care nurse to administer my iv antibiotics on the weekend. They’d rather pay for extra days stay vs someone to do approvals for the network. I must be missing something.

52F and partly cloudy @ 10:45, but it sure seems pretty bright out there. Supposedly headed up to a high of 59F, but with occasional showers (60%) moving in later. Calling for sunny tomorrow with a high of 65F.

Talking a low of 28F this coming Wednesday ... with the possibility of snow ...

Got out on the Kubota yesterday and made one pass up and one pass down the front lawn. While the grass was long enough to cut, most of the dandelions were a little too short to be clipped off by the blades. Depending on what they look like today, I may go ahead and run over all of it ... or just wait until tomorrow when it's supposed to be nicer out.

Rustled up some more substrate for the living room fish tank yesterday and got that added. Will look around and see if there is any I missed. Finished up drawing water for pwc's ... and managed to remember to switch the softener off bypass. Need to move some fish up today. Yolk sacs on the new fry continue to get smaller ... probably be free swimming in a day or two.

Bird feeders are due to be refilled today.

More kitchen clean up and all the rest of the normal stuff. And whatever else I can find to get into.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable Sunday ... (y)

Boy! Pretty cool and damp outside!
Got about 2/3rds of the lawn aerated....I'll finish after lunch if it warms up a bit

I have an Agri-Fab aerator which I tow behind a Deere Z920 zero-turn. Although online reviews are mixed, I've never had a problem after 3 years. Of course, I aerate once a year...no need for more then that

Good morning to all! Low of 29, about an inch of wet snow overnight. The flowers that bloomed are now doomed! Hopefully they will re-bloom.
The temp rose quickly, now at 42, and most of the snow is melting quickly.

Randy, glad to hear you were able to get some rest. I bet that felt good!

Mostly, nice pics.

Thomas, don't get into too much trouble if it's soggy outside....

The greenhouse got delivered yesterday.... I am glad that I went out to the FedEx driver..... One of the boxes was a large flat one, containing the polycarbonate sheets....

He apparently took a similar sized box off the truck that had a picture of a folding picnic table on it. At first I thought maybe my son ordered it, but when the driver started to get ready to leave, I asked him to "wait a minute"....
I checked the address on the box and it was for a neighbor about a mile away.... I am glad that they didn't get my polycarbonate sheets and I don't need a picnic table....

The weather didn't cooperate yesterday, staying too chilly for me to get motivated to start the assembly. Today is much the same, so just going to relax and keep the wifey company.

An early dinner is planned, going to do a rib roast slow cooked in the oven. Originally going out on the smoker, but we decided to keep inside .....

Everyone have a great day!

64°F and .17 inches rain.

Plan is to refill hot tub and get back in service. Hopefully a chance to try out later. While tub is filling I will be rebuilding my Weber gas grill with some new components. Possibly try some salmon filets.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Ted, good luck with greenhouse. It took two guys almost ten hours to build my 6x8. I'm sure second time they could have shaved hours off that.
But I think you and your wife will have a great deal of fun with it.

Toppop, I've found that getting anything done on the weekend with most medical places is really difficult.
Hope tomorrow is your day. Glad the auto show benefit went well.

Planted almost two flats of flowers and saved half a flat for tomorrow. Very nice out, my forehead was telling me wear a hat next time I come out.
You start feeling that slightly baked feeling and you know you have reached your limit.

BEF, but it was good, right? Did you get jalapenos on it? They have some of the best.

.

No, but that would have been great, love them.

The price wasn’t as high as I thought, for some reason I thought I paid $54 but it was only $41 for 3 burgers, 2 small fries and 2 regular drinks.
Still around $17 for a burger, fry and drink.

Had great Texas burrito from the New Mexican place for lunch. It has steak, chicken, shrimp, red and green peppers and onions covered in a cheese dip.

I had song leading at worship. Beautiful sunny day at 61°.

Roy just called an audible.

My tractor tires left marks in the yard yesterday.

I like the current wall color with the (new?) red trim, James. It has that old timey fishing lodge look I remember as a kid from trips to Canada with my folks. But then my opinion doesn't matter, and probably yours doesn't, either...
On the contrary, RN - arguments like yours will be used to great effect!

check; how about the redish brown walls and to satisfy your wife canary yellow trim? Happy wife, happy life.

Update on DIL, doctor says they will NOT be giving her any more blood transfusions and that she has about two weeks left. Her iron count is down again. Life sucks, then you die.
Sorry, L4N, all the trim has to be red, like it is everywhere else.

Here is what the red looks like with the new green roof showing on the main part of the boathouse. The lower trim stills need to be painted (red) like the other sections. And that upper strip of red is the new eavestrough.

The reddish brown would be a nice complement. Yellow, not so much.
