I don't think I have as much traction with the wide R4 tires on the Kubota as my neighbor has with the R1s on his Deere, Drew. More isn't always better, especially when it comes to tractor tires.
I have a feeling the fires in California will get us all hikes in our property insurance premiums next year. Insurance companies don't like paying for losses, and seem to take it out on their customers.
Didn't get the positioning right on the GPS buttons I "fixed" last week, and when I put it back together two of the switches were permanently depressed. So yesterday I broke them out of the silicon seal, cleaned everything up, and tried again. This time I put it back together while the ackenpucky was still soft, so hopefully the buttons'll end up in the right place.
Also need to call the darn satellite internet company again. It's been a week and a half and still no repairman has called to set up a visit. Have I complained how bad Hughesnet service is this week yet? Oh, I guess I just did.:smiley_aafz:
Is ackenpucky related to freakingpookey?
Are the satellite guys all working down near the fires?
I'm glad I got R4's on my 4310 for around the yard, but I'm even happier about having a 5420 MFWD with R1's to come pull it out when it's stuck in the mud down by the pond or bottomland.
Instant pot owners.
Any tips or advice for buying one. Wife is wanting one for Christmas. Size? Location? Pricing?
I know it痴 been answered and I should have paid attention.
Yep, my wife looked on Amazon for IP but no luck. (Using the old school presto pressure cooker, I made a huge batch of cream of chicken with rice and veggies, then the next day made a pot roast with veggies) My first attempt ever at "cream of" soup, I put a bit much flour in with the cream. Next time will be better.
So much to catch up on. You guys have been busy typing.
Prayers for rip, BEF and topps and for all of you.
Ron, tell Betty happy belated birthday from Texas.
rs, glad you have plenty of wood to keep your barn warm. It makes all the difference in the world having a nice warm place to work in the winter. I'll bet even the fish would like it.
Kyle was in Bastrop today, by the Tractor Supply they will be opening a Harbor Freight.
I admit I kind of like going into Harbor freight, but I always wish for a clothes pin to put on my nose. I hate the smell of Chinese cosmoline.
Hope all of you have a blessed Christmas season.
