Good morning!!!!

Sitting here enjoying a left over late lunch burrito and a dill pickle. Not a Clausen, though. Apparently there's a glass shortage, and their distribution is taking a hit because they can't source enough jars. There were none at either of the two grocery stores I tried yesterday, so I ended up with a jar of a locally produced spears that are OK, but not as good. They came in a plastic tub...

because the spitting rain never stopped, my brother's car stayed in the garage and I went there instead. It sounded very nice and I tried to make a video of it but
pretty much screwed it up. Solid lifters and those pipes made for quite the racket in the garage.
Car looked so much better with blackwalls on it. Goodyear Assurance, hardly high performance but at least they fit, relatively tiny 205/75/15 tires.
Really isn't any more clearance under the fenders for bigger tires without making suspension changes he doesn't want to do.
Brother did say car rode way better now with radial tires.

check; how about the redish brown walls and to satisfy your wife canary yellow trim? Happy wife, happy life.

Update on DIL, doctor says they will NOT be giving her any more blood transfusions and that she has about two weeks left. Her iron count is down again. Life sucks, then you die.

garlic dill gherkins are my favorites. I buy them when they go on sale which unfortunately is not often. 5 bucks for a jar of pickles and it turns out there are maybe seven in the jar.

I would expect that you got a rain check,
Those were about the worst handling most obnoxious tire shredding Corvettes ever built,
but oh so much fun to crowd them hard and run the gears.
Over steer on demand from the go pedal.

I like this as well Actually most pickles. Unfortunately my favorites are no longer available. My grandmother made something we called mustard pickles, cucumbers from her garden. Anytime I was lucky enough to be told to geo get a jar from the cellar you could count on them being have gone that meal.lot’s of good memories from those visits.

Hope you didn't get your fair share of this nasty storm, and if you did hope you got some good seat time.
Although it snowed most of the day at work (outside Claremont NH), and wifey said it snowed most the day in Bethel, there was no snow on the roads and probably no more then an inch on the lawn when I got home

Drive in this morning kind of sucked, drive home was wet but easy

PTO driveshaft is ready to pick up, but since I got some hot sandwiches on the way home, I'll pick up the drive shaft and mirrors (for the 4052) tomorrow. Going to be a wet day anyway, so no outside work, I'll wager

Interstate closed because of accident in am drive, fortunately I was at an exit when I saw backup and went right around.

Normal busy work day.

Wife went to her moms, I grilled burgers for supper.
Need gas so I can mow tomorrow. Probably get that in the morning.

Chilly out says 53° but cold wind.

Prays for all.

Last time I saw a "foreign" lizard in Stubby's territory, he chased the invader so fast across the patio I'd never seen him move so quickly. They ended up under a sheet of tin and a heck of a ruckus ensued, with the other lizard departing out the other side never to be seen again. :ROFLMAO:
Illegal alien lizard?

My deceased aunt and uncle made all kinds of pickles. When they were out of fresh garden cucumbers, they would buy a big gallon of dill pickles, take the top off and drain out a bit of juice and maybe 1 pickle, and they put some sliced jalapenos and sugar in it. Put it in fridge for a week or so, they came out great.

Looks like I’ll be here until Monday and go home with a port for antibiotics. Beats dying though!

I agree completely with the not dying thing. When I did my hospital tour of duty after my accident, I was discharged with a PIC line for IV antibiotics for the infection that developed in my chest cavity. As my wife and daughter are both nurses, it was no real inconvenience, I wasn’t going anywhere any how. The worst part was that I was on them long enough that they wiped out the “good bugs” in my gut and I ended up with a CDIF infection. That was no fun.
But now when I look back at that whole adventure, and where I am today, I often say it sure beats being dead.

Yea, but isn't your wife a hospice nurse?

L4n, prayers for you and your family.

Wngsprd, hope coco gets to feeling better.

Randy, stop scaring us like that or you will have to go on a plant based diet.

Kyle, too bad about daughter's boyfriend #1, but he was a little too eager to vacate your daughter for some seat time.

Cloudy 61˚F, had a half inch rain yesterday and misty all day today. The yard is loving it and is getting very green as the fertilizer dissolves.
Went by the garden to see hundreds of pill bugs munching on my potatoes. Got some beer for some beer traps and also some organic Sluggo to bait them.

Yet another update, took her to the hospice this morning. She found out the hard way how they clear the patients. They withhold the meds. Noon pills didn't get to her nor did the supper pills. I just got home from picking her up. She will die at home with her furbabies around her.
